I may be the only one here, but I did not enjoy Avni's fight scene with Maan dixit today.

This is for multiple reasons.

If it was another fight scene to show Avni's fierce side or her being champion for other jail mates, then it was not needed as there have been multiple scenes showcasing this aspect of Avni.

However I suspect that this was not the reason that CVs introduced this scene with this guy.

This guy is the son if a politician and perhaps know Vidyut as Vidyut is with politicians as he wants to be an MLA.

Now this guy will be able to tell Vidyut which jail Avni is in.

Because generally only family members and some police officials only will know the exact location of a jail inmate.

And Vidyut would not have access to her location as he is not related to Avni,

so Avni did not need to pick a fight with this guy unnecessarily.

She could have just gone to the Jailor and expressed her concern that she thinks Preeti is in trouble.

or since she is very intelligent, she could have smartly directed the Jailor and her support staff towards the supply room.

But here again Avni did not think and in her impulsiveness is likely to bring Vidyut R to her doorstep and close to her.

This is just my opinion/my take from this particular scene and so please don't throw brickbats at me

I don't think she did what she did in her impulsiveness. Avni is far from being impulsive these days. And who knows, she might not even know Vidyut is into out and out politics these days?

Besides, he is yet to become an MLA/Minister, so I don't think he has made it to the political news in newspapers either, for Avni to know what she is playing at.

So, yes. I wouldn't blame her for what she did.

I did not say that Avni did this intentionally to get to Vidyut.

Despite her not knowing anything about Vidyut, through this guy Vidyut may come to know where she is and may be that is how he comes to that jail as Santa.

I get what you mean, but truth is, when a leech like that political guy could even enter a women's jail and handcuff a naive girl, there's only so little you can invest as trust in the system. So whatever Avni did, to me, it was a very valid defense mechanism, so that the guy dare not repeat what he did. Also, the fact that she forwarded the video to her friends and blackmailed him with social media exposure, it was a good leverage, and to me, it was not impulsiveness, but a very well executed strategy from her part.

It is a different thing that this can have a repercussion on her if Vidyut figures out which jail she is in, through this leech.

The way vidyut has been projected, I doubt he needs this mla to figure out which jail avni is in. I'm sure he already knows!

well lets see how this elaborate introduction of Maan Dixit, a politician's son plays out in future episodes.

he was introduced by half a dozen of the new jail characters in the last 2 episodes.

I dont think this incident is gonna pose an extended harm to Avni regarding Vidyut.

This may be a build up to showcase Avni's changed attitude towards dealing the situation, but then we already had so many scenes.

I think this was more lile foreshadowing about how smartly Avni is going to deal with political issues whenever she will come face to face with vidyut who will be a politician, that handcuffing herself, video shooting everything then blackmailing for reputation n all.. Again its my thinking.

Also if we see other way around, she can use this man as a pawn or informer, using him to bring confidential internal info about Vidyut through his political approach, obviously blackmailing him through the video she captured. But the chances are less.
