Ishra parents were shocked at the revelation and Toshiji said -yeh tu kya keh raha hai puttar, tune iss bachchi ko pareshan kiya. Itna rulaya.
Raman started crying out of fear and said -sorry maa, I didn't mean to hurt her. Main toh sirf prank khel raha tha. I didn't know about her. He said and narrated the incident.
Mr and Mrs bhalla got angry hearing this while iyers look at each other.
Mr bhalla -humne tujhe yahin sikhaya hai, ki aise chote bachchon ko pareshan Karna. He said scolding Raman while he was just crying. Toshiji got up to slap raman and he closed his eyes in fear when appa said -please ruk jaiye.
Toshiji stopped and look at appa while Raman too looked at him.
Appa -dont punish him.
Mr bhalla -yeh Aap kya keh rahe hai, he bullied ur daughter and still u don't want him to be punished.
Appa -yes, I want that only. U know why kyunki aapka beta bahut achcha hai. Galti sab karte hai but maante bahut kam hai. Agar aaj iski sachchai par aap log Isse punish karenge toh yeh phir kabhi sach bolne ki himmat nahi karega. He said looking at Raman while his parent look at each other.
Amma -yes bhabhi ji, hamari ishu ko aaj tak bahut bachchon ne sataya but no-one accepted their fault like this. Yeh toh iski achchai hai that he accepted his fault. Iske liye please isse punish mat kijiye.she said making raman look down in guilt.
Toshiji -see Raman, tumne itna galat kiya still they r saving u. Go and say sorry.
Raman nodded and went to amma appa. He hold his ear and said -I am sorry uncle -aunty. I will never tease ishita again.
They smiled and appa make him sit in his lap and said -sirf ishita ko nahi kanna u shouldn't tease anyone. Aap toh itne achche bachche ho. Aise kisi ko pareshan nahi karna chahiye. Not everybody is blessed like u, kisi ko koi problem hai toh kisi ko koi. Tumhe sabki muskaan banne ki koshish karni chahiye, naa ki kisi ke aansu ka kaaran. OK. He said wiping his big tears.
Raman nodded and said -ok uncle, aaj se main kisi ko pareshan nahi karungi kabhi.
Appa -thats like a good boy. He said and make raman sit on the sofa.
Appa got up and said -thank u for ur help, ab hum jaate hai. Abhi thoda kaam baaki hai. Jaldi se shifting ka kaam ho jaaye,toh hum bhi settle ho jaaye.
Amma too got up picking little ishita in her arms and said-really thank u for ur help. Aap logon se mil kar sach mein bahut achcha lagaa, aap logon ka neighbour ban kar bahut achcha samay guzrega.saying so they were going when Toshiji said -bachchi ko yahin sula dijiye.
Amma -appa turned hearing this to which Toshiji said -aap log apna kaam jaldi jaldi karna lijiye, ishita puttar so rahi hai. Let her sleep comfortably.laaiye main apne room mein sula doon. Choti bachchi hai savere se ro rahi hai, thik se nahi so paayi toh tabiyat kharab ho sakti hai. And I don't want her to suffer because of my son.
Amma -aisi koi baat nahi hai, but it will be really good if she sleeps comfortably. She said giving ishita to Toshiji. Toshiji took her and was taking her to her room when raman said -maa, mere room mein sula do. Woh baby ka room hai, toh chotu baby ko toh wahin sona chahiye naa. He said and all looked at him.
Raman -promise main pareshan nahi karunga. Isse friendship karunga, iski take care karunga. He said innocently.
Toshiji looked at amma and she nodded giving permission. Toshiji took ishita to raman's room and make her sleep comfortably while Mr bhalla went out with iyers to get their things done. Toshiji got busy in her household work while Raman got busy in doing his homework.
After an hour, Raman felt hungry. He went to bring something for himself that's when ishita opened her eyes rubbing and looked around .she tried to recognize the place but couldn't. She get down the bed and was going out when she saw raman coming inside the room eating biscuits . She got scared seeing him and start shivering in fear, she looked around and thought to hide. She hide under the table when raman came in and said looking at the empty bed-arey yeh Kahan chali gayi. Abhi toh yahin thi. He said looking around. He was searching her while she was crying scared of him. He bend and saw her under the table crying.
Raman -come out.
Ishita nodded in no and tried to call her amma crying her heart out but her voice didn't came out.she started crying more bitterly while he realised her fear and said forwarding his hand -please don't cry, I will not tease u. Come out babu. He said softly making her look at him.
Raman -sachchi, promise I will not hurt u again. I am really sorry.
Ishita looked at him while he wiped her tears softly. She slide slowly towards him and was coming out when her head banged with the table. She start crying again holding her head when he went under the table and scoop her in his arms. He took her out from under the table while she rested her head on his chest sobbing. he was rocking her slowly caressing her head while she was just looking at him with her big doe shaped eyes. He looked at her and said -tu gussa hai mujhse.
Ishita didn't reacted when he said again -i am really sorry, mujhe tujhe pareshan nahi karna chahiye tha. Tu maaf kar deti mujhe.
Ishita was just looking when he said -achcha biscuit khayegi. He said showing her the biscuits.
Ishita nodded slowly, he gave her biscuit and she start eating it slowly resting her head on his chest.
Raman -pani peeyegi.
Ishita nodded again.
Raman made her sit and said -tu yahin reh, main abhi laata hoon. Saying so he went and bring water for her. He made her drink water and went to his table. He bring something and said -dekh yeh Maine tere liye banaya hai, sorry card. Achcha hai naa, yeh ladka main, yeh ladki tu, main tujhe phool de kar sorry bol raha hoon. Achcha hai naa. He asked showing it to ishita.
Ishita took it when he asked again -bol naa, achcha hai naa. Maine bahut mehnat se banaya hai. Tu isse legi naa. Mera sorry accept karegi naa.
Ishita finally smiled hearing this and nodded.
Raman got happy seeing her nod and said -toh aaj se hum dost, mera naam raman hai.
Ishita look at him and then down not able to say her name. Raman picked her in his arms and said -ni need to say, mujhe pata hai tera naam ishita hai. Par main tujhe babu bulaunga. Pata hai kyun, kyunki tu chote babu ko tarah cute hai. He said smiling making her smile too.
On the other hand, iyers house finally got settled. They came with sweets and chocolates for raman to bhallas to thank them for their help.
Toshiji welcomed them and asked them to have dinner with them tonight as they must be tired with all the shifting things. At first iyers denied but theb agreed when bhallas insisted.
Amma -ishu jag gayi kya. It's long since she is sleeping.
Toshiji -donr know, baahar toh aayi nahi. Bas raman aaya tha biscuits aur paani lene. Let me check. She said and went to check and came back smiling. She called everyone to gave a glance on the kids and all smiled seeing them sitting together and writing. Raman was doing his homework and instructing ishita how to draw B.
Raman -aise straight line ke baad two half circle, tum B ban jayega. Chalo bana kar dikhao toh main bunny good dunga. He was saying while ishita just nodded and start making B.
