Yes could be a religious thing and hence psychological

Sodomy is a sin in religion (although not overtly mentioned) and was/is crime in several parts of the world

Gay men are at higher risk for stds (although it is not PC to mention this) and it's not true that lesbians are less prone to stds than others

I avoid Kjo's movies so have no comments on that

But HW and TV shows used to make gay jokes all the time even until a few yrs ago

Now they've became so PC they have to include a gay character and a black and other minority characters in every show whether it suit the story or not

They accuse others of homophobia, but when they have to attack or mock someone they call them (or their parents) gay slurs like Fagg*t

Here in this forum one member who is a self proclaimed gay activist used the term Fagg*t when criticizing someone 😛

Actually sometime back Alec Baldwin did the same thing, he hit a photographer and called him fag***

But he suffered no consequences, was not even accused of homophobia
