I have been thinking of the future track and I think this is how it may go.
Vidyut may win the MLA election and with the influence he yields, he will put pressure on above to get Avni bailed from jail. He will either in some roundabout way present reasonable doubt about whether she was the shooter or even get Bhallu to confess to shooting Juhi? Who knows what he will do? He told Neil:
"Apni khoobsurat Biwi ki azadi ke badaley usse muje soap doh!"
He never said how he was going to achieve this Azaadi. But since Neil knew he was probably the person who shot Juhi, he has information that can save Avni from suspicion. But of course, putting Avni in Vidyut's path was never a "choice" for Neil. So he took the 1st option which was arrest Avni and sent her to jail as a means of keeping her away from Vidyut's orbit, and also preventing her from going after Vidyut if she found out the "deal" he had offered Neil! Neil's whole objective in sending Avni to prison and letting her misunderstand his intentions was to stop her from knowing the truth about Vidyut and why he was doing all this. He wants Avni, but she is oblivious to this!
Now comes the possible deal he makes to get her out. Avni may take it, because this is what she wants too. To get close enough to Vidyut to destroy him. At THIS point, Neil and even Neela may counsel her against taking his help. Maybe by then, it's too late, she may have taken it. They are both shocked to see Avni has taken Vidyut's help and not only that, has willingly entered his orbit. The VERY thing they were trying to prevent is now happening. Just 6 months and a lot of water under the bridge later!
The problem here is, the mood Avni is in, she won't listen to Neil or even Neela probably? She will have her own intentions and plan for getting close to Vidyut. Play the player himself. Neil and Neela have been a double act to play him all this time too. But Avni is now in no mood to stop for anyone, anyone's wise counsel or anyone's love! She is beyond that. When her heart broke, something broke inside her. She is now hell-bent on revenge and winning. Just like she was during Daya's time! That time it was for Amol. This time it's probably for Mishti and also what she was made to go through, taking the fall for a crime she didn't commit. She will know VR's intentions in saving her are nowhere good or noble. She won't fall in his trap, but her intention will be to make him fall in hers! She also has no idea the power she wields over Vidyut. He is obsessed with her, so it will be easy for her to get him on her side. Especially if she shows she won't give the time of day to Neil anymore. Vidyut will become overconfident and triumphant seeing that the very ploy Neil used to keep Avni away from him has actually worked in the reverse!
Can you imagine the level of angst and also jealousy Neil will be feeling if Avni gives Vidyut any Bhaav and putting Ghaas on him? 😉 This will feel like watching "Don". You know how girls pretended to be "Into" Don just to defeat him? It's the same thing here. But for people watching from outside, it may look like something else. I have a feeling some real showdowns are going to happen where it will look like Avni aka Ananya and VR are a team and Neil is standing on the other side! Get ready guys, this ride wont be easy, but the pay off will be HUGE!

P.S: I think Suneheri, not Monica may be the informant. She reminds me a bit of Juhi's character in One2Ka4. There she acted like a comial and OTT character but it turned out she was an undercover agent. I know Monica knows English more than the other inmates. But it's possible Suneheri is faking her tapori accent!
