This was a really good episode like speculated it was Avni who indirectly ended up saving Neil from being exposed as Neo. Avni destroyed Vidyut's drugs before returning to jail. Avni managed to cover her tracks well so no one knew of her escape.
Neela and Avni meeting after all these months was emotional, both feeling they have let the other down. The bond these two share is so precious, it is really one of the things that stand out in this show, one of the USPs. Avni asked Neela to sing the lullaby Ayesha used to sing to her before it was time for Neela to leave.
Neil is yearning to meet Avni, the guilt is still raw for how much he hurt her and whatever she is enduring because he had to arrest her. Neela reminded him of how they both decided to do this for Avni and how they are going to get her out. This is how Neil learned that Neela was not the one who helped him destroy the shipment of drugs Vidyut had.
Ali and Avni discuss her plans to still go forward with her prison break attempt but will Neil put a dent in those plans? Neil and DD went back to the scene and Neil saw the material from Avni's prison wear, he remembered what Neela told him about Avni and put the pieces together. Neil knows Avni tried to break out of prison.
Precap was Neil and Avni finally meeting, while the part where Neil hugs, kisses and promises Avni he will give her a happily after is a dream they do really meet. Neil is going to see his Avni is not in the mood to forgive him anytime soon, she is very hurt. I felt for Avni when she told Sunheri and the other inmates her views about love and how you get betrayal in return. I look forward to how Neil makes this up to her, will she forgive once she learns the truth or will Neil have to work harder to melt her heart? Either way next week is going to be interesting, Avni has yet to know about Neil being Neo and I want to see how these two interact considering they have a common enemy.
I am really liking this track, it has so much potential and really focuses on the USPs of this show. NK has a strong cast and they've made the leads equals with the villain. There is a good balance when it comes to when Vidyut gets the upper hand and now AvNeil. I know there are some doubts about Neil being Neo and trying to get a confession out of Vidyut but you have to keep in mind Neil hands are tied. There has been nothing to prove Avni's innocence, Vidyut has covered his tracks well when it comes to his illegal activities so Neil becoming Neo gave him that opening to get the upper hand. Neil can have something to hold over Vidyut's head, twist his arm and make things difficult for him considering his efforts to get into politics. Will it get a confession out of him? Probably not but Vidyut being the person he is could find other means to get Avni out of jail. Hopefully Avni won't be in jail much longer.
