Hey there all the lovely people!!
Apologies for being late... it was heart breaking to see the precap...but here is the post nonetheless.

~ It's not the load that weighs you down, it's the way you carry it ~ C.S Lewis

Kanak has been cornered into her own plan, she tried getting Massi to admit that she wouldn't give up the property even for Uma's happiness... but as they say it doesn't take much for a hunter to fall into its own trap and become the hunted... while Kanak was trying to shoot wicked snakes she herself has been cornered - the options are spread out in front of her, 100% Uma or 50% property, it's for her to decide to whether she would nose dive into the cliff or she would take back a step into safety and wait for a better opportunity - technically taking a step back at times doesn't mean that one is scared or afraid to move forward, but as an athlete takes a step back to hold more ground and gain more stronger spring in the race. Kanak is confused because she hadn't anticipated this kind of turn around of her plan, she hadn't even considered getting the divorce part, seeing the way she was shocked. But Massi fuels her ego and unconsciously Kanak has taken the challenge as ego issue, the flaw that she never takes a step back from the challenge thrown at her, her obsession to play and win takes the better of her and she is ready to gamble and is determined to win both Uma and his wealth.

In between the chaotic storm that has started to brew, Uma is the tennis ball, he is standing alongside Kanak, he asks her to stop doing whatever she is doing as he cannot see Massi hurt ... for the first time he doesn't interrupt Kanak while she is having a interrogation session with Massi.
Uma refuses to agree to Massi's condition of marrying Palomi after divorcing Kanak. He is conflicted for the thought of remarrying never occurred to him even while he was contemplating divorce initially. Kanak and Uma are shocked beyond words and they look at each other, Kanak silently pleading him not to accept and he for the first time he vocalizes that he can't do what Massi is saying.
The line of the day is ~don't let the matters get so worse that in the end only the trust remains~ that's Uma's concern regarding the whole issue.. he is trusting Kanak and is standing by her unquestioning but he has warned her that what good would trust do when there would be no relationship left between them... and he ain't happy about it.

Everything in life is a choice one way or the other, but relationships like marriage shouldn't be an option. Husband/wife shouldn't be an option for each other to be chosen from multiple choice questions. It's about priorities, Massi would have made a mistake sooner or later and Kanak could have taken her chance. But she refused to take a step back and has put her relationship with Uma to be auctioned off - it's with this track that Palomi's love for Uma has been revealed but how casually it was thrown that it didn't even make a difference. No matter how weird stupid this track might seem, it looks that things might get better, that things can't be worse than this.

I think Uma would have agreed to marry Palomi just because Massi sa insisted! If he is foolish enough to take his ancestors hard earned wealth and give it to massi sa then why couldn't he marry someone of her choice? If Uma can divorce Kanak , whom he has always felt obligated to and loves her, just because she defended herself in front of Massi sa then why can't he marry Palomi ? He doesn't know her real face either. Doesn't love her is not enough to say no to the woman he worships.
Thanks blueflames for bearing the burden of the track crap!

Dear blue

You shared the most beautiful quote with us. Thank you so much for that.

"~ It's not the load that weighs you down, it's the way you carry it ~ C.S Lewis "

If we able to understand this quote then our loves will be so optimistic without any despair and hopelessness.
We are never in control of what situations we will face but we always have control of our choice and how we carry that choice.

Hope same wisdom been in the show rather than all this heartbreak.
I am clearly disapponited the way Kanak been shown as a person who can gamble most precious relation ever.
She is clearly thinking she don't have a choice but she do only if she able to give more time to herself rather than acting with impulsiveness.
My concern is whether Kanak will learn her mistake from this otherwise KanUm may be saved this time by Bholenath or Farida intevention but she is giving her weakness as weapon to Massisa which Massisa can use in future.

It's disheartening to see that Uma been treated as commodity both by Massisa and Kanak.

"Everything in life is a choice one way or the other, but relationships like marriage shouldn't be an option.
Husband/wife shouldn't be an option for each other to be chosen from multiple choice questions. "

Completely agree with you blue.
Showing marriages in such a way is truly disappointing.

From precap it looks like Uma had gambled his trust on kanak too that Kanak is never going to sign those divorce papers.
He trusted her not to wipe away their relation.

Have a wonderful day blue

Awesome analysis.

I had a doubt now.

Uma is agreeing to Massisa's conditions only because of that most ridiculous promise that Kanak asked.

Otherwise he wouldn't even dream about marrying Palomi.

Kanak agreeing for Uma to marry Palomi for alimony. Then why all the drama next day as if Uma betrayed her where as he is doing all this to keep the promise that he made to her.

Hey there
Thank you for reading and commenting.

Technically it's all doubtful at the moment, let's wait and watch a few more episodes to decide what's actually happening.
But there is this insane hope I have that things would turn around in KanUm's favor, just a few more days.

Hi Blue
Wonderful analysis dear .Heart wrenching episode very hard to see uma breaking down.I really pity for him he has become a scape goat for kanak and massisa.First he was puppet for massaisa now he has become puppet for both saas and bahu.Is uma a human or a commodity to strike a deal like this.No one is respecting his feelings they are trying to force their decisions on him without even thinking he also has a heart he also have feelings. His love and trust shattered.Kanak sincerely made this move to safeguard uma and his family but her plan backfired as usual massisa outsmarted kanak she made the situations favourabe to her.Kanak didnt expect this counter from massisa she thought by asking alimony massisa would reject it and by that way massisa true colours will be out but unfortunately her plan failed she has poked her eyes with her own finger.Massisa is purely evil she cornered kanum. She used all her tactics of emotional blackmail to get the acceptance from uma but uma was not ready to accept her decision he put his foot down at the right time he is not a puppet of massisa he respects and love her so he obeys her orders he know when to tell no to massisa. Both saas and bahu are trying to make him dance to their tunes. The beautiful part was he is trusting kanak he very well know kanak is is not doing this for money but he is cluleless why she is ready to sacrifice him for the property. He was waiting for kanak to step back from her decision but she was not ready she was confident that she can win both uma and property. He was literally pleading her not to take decision on his life and break their relationship but kanak was helpless to protect uma hard earned money she has to choose divorce with heavy heart. On one side i feel pity for uma but other side i feel it is a way to uma 's redemption he will now realize his true love on kanak not only uma even kanak will realize her abudant love on him. Both of them will realize the value of each other so this small separation will make thier bond more stronger than before. This will be a lesson for uma to make him realize how painful it would be when one force their decision on other as he will be personally experiencing now.

Hey there Divya
Thank you for reading and a wonderful elaborate comment.
My apologies for not being able to reply earlier...

Oh it's definitely a perspective that Uma is being used as a commodity, KanUm relationship is being auctioned off... but on the other hand amidst all the weirdness and awkward stupidity of Kanak's plan... KanUm have come closer, they are more expressive towards each other. Kanak is holding back her reason and Uma understands her purpose but is clueless about the reason and fearful of the result.
The best part yesterday was Uma and Kanak talked - they didn't just walk away hurt and refused to talk about it. Uma is opening up regarding his concern of their marriage. He trusts her but fears the outcome of her actions... I have my hopes rekindled for KanUm in this dark time...
