Dear Ranjana,

Almost a month after you posted the lovely tales, I am back. I had what I presume are valid reasons for not visiting the forum in the intervening period, but it still makes me feel guilty.

I did read this story when you reworded it for you OTP and now I realise that names do make a very great difference - somehow the whole "feel" changes (I never watched the serial but still..). I now have even more reservations about transforming my stories on my OTP to other couples😊

But it did not detract me from the story - a cute and tender recounting of how being truly in love changes one's perspective about life and things. And I wanted to ask if it was intentional that you name the ML as Nachiket, I presume you are aware of the origins of this name, (I am fascinated with the whole tale of Nachiket😳).

And thank you for posting it here at WC, where I can re read to my heart's content.

ETA - Rumi is my absolute favourite and I use his poems whenever I get a chance - loved the use of his poem on insomnia here😳

Oh please don't feel guilty, Nyna. I myself was struggling to find some spare time until last week. And now I'm back to working frantically on the other story. Haven't updated it for 2 months now :|

Thank you so much liking Summer Mist :) and yes, Nachiket was named so intentionally. I too love that story :D in fact, I often recommend the name to friends and relatives when they are looking for baby boy names :P LOL but no one has picked it yet :( 😆😆

Btw I hope you read Unspoken too...If you're trying to spare my feelings, please don't do so :P haha I'm made of tough stuff 8) 😆
