What was intially posted was a draft of the report that Gargi passed on to me on 23 Oct. The complete feature will appear on the 31 October issue of the Post.

I spoke to Gargi last night again and she clarified that the report will be altered as she has been informed that Rex being busy in Mumbai at this time with post Gurukul commitments will not be making it to Goa for the meeting.

As a result one of the orgainising representative of the IFFI, along with Remo' publicist and media manager, Hemant Chodankar and an representative of "Gumot" (named after a musical instrument typical to Goa), a event management firm in Goa will be in Mumbai to meet up with Rex to chart out details.

Gargi, in the meanwhile is traveling to Mumbai next week and will visit Gurukul to get insider information on several issues including the tiff between Javed Akhtar and Ila Arun, the reasons for Ruprekha's volte face on Rex, the actual tally and percentage of votes each Jodi garnered and Javed Akhtar's role and influence in the choice of FJ.

I will request Gargi to post her report on Inside Gurukul, on this forum as and when she comes out with it.

I have known Gargi since her college days at Symbiosis, Pune where she studied Media & Mass Comm. She writes as a freelancer to several publications.

Well, its probably a joke for outside India members, who probably know nothing about IFFI and Goa. Sitting in judgement miles away, we now have mullahs, pointing out to us.
