In those times. People never had question in their minds "Am I ready for a relationship. or Am I ready for marraige." That's sorta beauty of that generation because its simple. Even though Sameer has lots of complexities in his life they dont make him question whether he should love or not. He is not bitter due to his life. Sad and lonely yes. But we clearly see he is positive in his approach towards life. In those days if people fell in love. They fell in love. And choose to be with that person. Love is still definitely there is 2017. But now it has become more complex with people being more complex. 90s was a much easier time. A much simpler time. Sameer's complexities in this case makes his love even more passionate and very strong for Naina. He never expected to find true love. But when he did. Its very impactful for him. The girl in such case. Can make him or destroy him.

No one is ready for relationship at 17 .

Sameer and Naina are ready for their first love that'll teach them ropes of relationship dynamics.

The reason why first love fails is because we don't know the complications of relationship and we chose our partner based on wrong assumptions and hormones.

Nevertheless, its great learning experience
