Most things in life for many can be bought at the asking price if one's pockets are bursting at the seams. However there are some things that are so valuable that they are priceless and cannot be bought or replaced, if lost.One's good name, word of honour, the sense of dignity both for a man, and a woman, but most of all fidelity cannot be bought, it has to be entrusted and then treasured as not to be parted with..is someone's faith tarnished today?
The lost engagement ring, puts a price on Sharanya's integrity and her sense of commitment towards marrying Vyom.Madhvi shows up Sharanya's careless of misplacing the expensive diamond ring.This scene shows a sharp contrast with the traumatic ordeal of being criminally assaulted and molested by Madhvi's son. Ironically , more credence and value has been given to a solitaire diamond, in contrast with the space and boundary of a woman,that is encroached upon with brute force by a man.
Sharanya despite Madhvi's blatant opposition to accepting her as Vyom's wife to be, is all loyal to Vyom, geared up to pay the price of his two years wait for her.The girl is a good soul, she wants him saved from the onslaughts of the spirit shadowing her. Vyom too, turns up and pays the price of saving Sharanya from his mother's cutting remarks!
The lost diamond ring as it were, is replaced by the ring Sharanya saw originally in her room.. the S initial ring! The S ring..may suggest this is the rightful ring from Shiv to Sharanya! At all costs Vyom intends to cut the melodrama.So he puts the ring on Sharanya's finger. To her silent horror she spots, blood around it , but covers her hand so as to draw no attention!
The lost ring is replaced, however Odhni is searching for clues. She knows ,full well too, there is a price of her head! Her search is futile, and she decides to invoke Shiv's help. In nervous she knocks some coins.. one rolls towards Shiv's feet,and Odhni makes a revelation.. the floor has a magnetic pull to it .. a coin sticks to it. Odhni comes across a file, with a key in it! What a discovery! she's ready to pay any penalty to have access to the information ! Shiv looms over her, silently he watches.. but information is blanked as Vidyut comes prowling.. Odhni hides from him..
Alongside, Odhni is unaware that, Vidyut is preoccupied with retrieving what he lost! Odhni's head!! At any cost he will slip away and seek the medium out, he cannot lose her! her life, means death for him! so the seeking ,searching game is on!
Blindfold haldi game too is on! Sharanya with concealed eyes has to seek Vyom and apply haldi on his face. Vyom tucks himself in a corner and watches her bearings.. his claps guide her ,and she veers towards him! she gets him feels his face with her haldi hands! The girl is fooled! got you!!Vyom calls out, who did she get?? He's behind her!!! Sharanya is thrown.. she pulls the blind fold off and realizes.. her haldi palm prints on glass!! without a doubt he is here! Shiv watches from the shadows..
Vyom has enough of it ! this is too much price he's having to pay for her illusions! They have gone on long enough! Vyom is irate.. how much more he has to cover up for her?? he tidied up the ring incident .. now she cooks up a new story about who Sharanya put haldi on!! Sharanya clings to Vyom, getting him upset is a high price for her to pay! She cajoles and puts haldi on his face!
The rest of the families turn up.. seeing them in a loving hug! they tease them ,who can say they are not married already? They look so cosy! Vyom once again pays the price for loving Sharanya.. yet again he covers up for her.. odd turns! and jests Sharanya is one smart girl! She tricked him and applied haldi on his face, plus ruined his outfit! Slightly out of order, given the occasion in mind, both Rajan and Mr. Bisht seem a bit anxious when Vyom takes Sharanya by the hand to his room.. muttering ,she'll have to find me a change of clothing now!..
Why she needs to give him further explanations is odd? Vyom needs to show sensitivity.. why would Sharanya ruin her own haldi? Sharanya tries to clarify the gravity of the situation, that she applied haldi on Vyom but it turns out to be him! Her preoccupation, fear of this spirit gets to Vyom! maybe he feels that even with him being around, Sharanya appears insecure?? His fury slowly travels from the pit of his stomach right to his brain..
Sharanya stands behind him, gently taps him on his shoulder.. and whispers sorry.. he turns around, one hand behind his head. Sharanya feels he looks at her in a way he'd never seen her before.. lewdly from top to bottom.. still there seems no reason for alarm to her. after all she is getting married to him in a few days time..
But its the way he grabbed her hair ,cruelly! It hurt! This was no passionate touch..she takes a step backwards. He looks like something else.. he aims to rough herup! and her reflex is to hit him back! That agitates him . how dare she strike him , resist him! With great force he hurls her like a rag doll on the bed! to her horror he forcibly pins her down pushing her arm down cruelly on the bed! Before she can scream he slams his fist on her mouth! and with one hand tears off the shoulder of her blouse.. laying bare her skin! She is shocked! Is this Vyom? the man who claims to love her? has waited two years for her? This cannot be Vyom, this is some devilish beast! Sharanya! gathers her strength , pushes, shoves! fights his body weight off! How she could use her nails and teeth to show him she does not give consent to him for this act of molestation! violence! physical harassment! Sharanya screams! Her heart pounds! Will someone come to her rescue? If only she can be set free! she'll show him! Surely a woman's dignity is more than a diamond??
Most condemnable scene.. it was shown in a precap on Friday.. I wrote about it. Today Monday its shown again.. a fictional female character disgraced, defiled, overpowered by a male fictional character... this female fictional character, will need victim support!! from the relevant agencies. That it's not over and done within a day.. rape or attempted rape victims take ages to lessen the scars not just on their bodies, but ontheir spirits too. Hope cv's will deal with the after effects of this scene, with the sensitivity that it requires. Shiv recites..
