I have been thinking about the progression of AvNeil and their relationship and where they started and where they are now, since the Promo came out.
It's clear that something will happen to Juhi and the blame will fall on Avni. Like it or not, Neil will have to arrest her. Just like he told her after the "pushing Juhi into traffic" incident, "If something happened to her, I would have HAD to arrest you! Do you GET that?" That line was foreshadowing the future. It was warning us that Neil will be put in this position where he will have to arrest Avni. The fact remains, it is his JOB to do so, if there is evidence to suggest she has committed a crime. This is not like Case 123, where she was stealing from corrupt politicians and giving the money back to charity. This is someone's death, and this someone had a complaint filed against Avni for Threatening to Kill. So the first suspicion was going to fall on Avni if something were to happen to Juhi. I am sure she was counting on that too. I wonder if this woman is even dead? With Juhi you can never tell. She literally has 9 lives, just like a Cat! Ironic that we call her Rat! 😡 But the fact remains that Avni will be accused and Neil will have to perform his duty.
In the Promo, he said "I free you from this relationship" NOT "I break this relationship!". He is shown breaking the MS and wiping off the Sindoor as a symbol of the break down of their relationship. I don't know if they will actually show him do this. The fact is, IF she has become Ananya again, (As in, she has lost control of her emotions and impulsively took the law into her hands), then Neil's faith in her will be shaken. He asked her and she promised him that she WILL think of him before ever considering taking the Law into her hands. That was his way of ensuring that she thinks rationally at times when her anger gets the better of her. But if there is evidence that she DID do this crime, then Neil will feel that her hate and anger overpowered her LOVE for him! THAT is the betrayal. The breaking of faith and trust.
Now comes Avni. The Producer's Tweet said:
"i don't mind bein hated. but i hate bein misunderstood - avni
This clearly indicates that AVNI becomes the subject of a misunderstanding. People, or Neil MU her. Then Neil realizes he was wrong, and he does everything in his power to save her. But Avni is shattered and she feels she has not been believed and she MU's Neil. She feels betrayed like when Ashish didn't believe her. 16 years later she finds herself in the same position again. A man she loves and trusts has betrayed her by not trusting her.
How the story will go after that is anyone's guess. Will Avni be in jail, will she escape from Jail, or will she be proven not guilty? Will she then stone wall Neil and not want to let him close again? Will they both give each other attitude and we see their old Tashan E Ishq?
The thing is, the story so far was mostly Neil's journey. His Safar of love. I wonder if this one will be Avni's? How she comes back to Neil? Her journey of love? Neil met Avni, he was drawn to her, then he was chasing her for his case, then he fell for her. But he was not ready to accept his feelings. Then they got married, he helped her avenge her past and then gave her that love and support. He overcame his past, and now he totally belongs to her. Then comes this huge blow, this setback to their relationship where Neil feels Avni chooses revenge over his love! But he realizes he's wrong. But will Avni forgive him? How will HER journey be, going back from Ananya Verma (which she will become again) to Avni Neil Khanna again?
Whatever it is people...this is going to Hurt SO bad! Because thinking about their love for each other, their closeness, their connection, it breaks my heart to think of them apart.
