She confirms that after Manikarnika, its a thriller followed by an inspiring story next (Arunima's biopic).

She really ought to have stood up for Deepika by signing the petition - her reasons were lame imo
Grating she used the term "feminist movement" to shy away from defending her colleague, and mentioned "left wing vs right wing politics" which is very much akin to the "both sides are bad" bullcrap that a certain someone proclaimed - I'm mystified by this girl, she seems to want to stand alone as some kind of martyr, even @ the wrong time.
Tragic.

She stood up for Deepika through her personal support... just chose not to get on Shabana's bandwagon.

BTW... Any update on the petition?? Have you seen it? All I hear is she didn't sign in the media. What about the weightage of other "signatures"? Who are the official signatories? Let's single out others too for not signing.

I'm sorry this campaign is a load of BS... you know it too and she very well knows it.

I would love to see this campaign be more than just about Kangana.

I think you misunderstood her use of "feminist movement," those words were meant for the sheer hypocrisy of Shabana Azmi, who when she was getting ganged upon and her career was hanging by the thread because of that controversy, chose to give personal dhamakis to her saying how she should apologize and claim she was having an affair with impostor Hrithik and also if she doesn't, her career will be destroyed, etc. etc. So, I'm sorry but what is the meaning of "feminism" to you? Is it fake supporting through such petitions? Or, Is it actually carrying out those values in real life by if not supporting then at-least not actively bullying women from holding their ground against powerful men and speaking out against them?! Plus, she even tweeted against Kangana in support of Hrithik saying "truth" will prevail. So, tell me from which angle is she supposed to be standing with this hypocrisy ki devi by sacrificing her own self worth meanwhile?! 🥱

Last I heard, people are still free to sign or not sign a petition. She doesn't HAVE to do it if she doesn't believe in it.

Also the fact that she openly supported Padmavait's team is enough of a support imo. Andonc even if she hadn't, it would have been her choice.

Instead of making it a "HUMAN MOVEMENT" by petitioning to save every life involved with the making of Padmavati, including that of SLB and other cast and crew, what is this sheer hypocrisy Madame Akthar is trying to sell???

A life is a life, whether it is that of lead actress or the maker of the movie... What is Shabana trying to do if not gain some brownie points by making it a "feminist movement"...

Kangz is trying to hard to be seen as some sort of anti-establishment revolutionary.
This reminds me of how she snubs award shows now.
When she debuted in 2006 and won all the Newcomer awards, she was everywhere.
2 years later when she won Supporting Actress for Fashion - again, she attended every show going.
Then all of a sudden in 2015 when she won Best Actress for Queen she decided to ape Aamir Khan and not attend.
She said something along the lines of "award shows are disingenuous" I believe in an Anupama Chopra interview in 2014.
It's just nonsense.

So you completely ignored answers to other claims you were making against her. Plus, Shabana's involvement in the left movement and the hatred for the right movement is very well known. As for awards, people are allowed to change their minds. The person she was in 2006, or even when fashion came out is not the person she is now. Or, are you telling me people don't grow and change their thinking? That people don't get disillusioned out of stuff like "awards." Plus after queen's success, she doesn't need to attend award shows to maintain fame, to be seen at award shows is no big deal for her anymore. She can afford to miss out on those shows and not have to cater to a visibility quotient required for smaller actresses.
