EDT~ ep 31, 4.12.17, My stance. Ring of steel ..
Ring , a metal band usually worn as a piece of ornament around the fingers, toes, ears etc. In many cultures a metal band around the ring finger symbolizes a nuptial bond. Today's episode plays upon the term ring. There are characters in the story ,who sense a ring of steel around them. A barrier, they find difficult to break in order to escape from the onslaught of an unseen, unknown, yet a sensed being.
Alarm bells ring for Odhni as she reckons, Rajan's selfishness knows no bounds. How he misconceives that Vyom's love for Sharanya is enough to ward off the spirit shadowing Sharanya. Seems this father will do anything to ensure both Vyom and him get their way.Odhni can see that money makes the man unscrupulous. Even mediums have morals, compared to the likes of Rajan. Still because he paid her she, speaks of the impending doom Vyom faces by the spirit. Besides since Sharanya came seeking answers from her. She feels morally obliged to inform Vyom and Sharanya both of her findings. But Rajan treats Odhni's revelations as mere nonsense! and conveniently dismisses the spirit as merely illusions conjured up in Sharanya's mind. Dead or alive? this spirit cannot come between Vyom and Sharanya. Its clear, Shranaya's two year partial memory loss provides Rajan a blanket to cover his undiscovered dark deeds. Not even Odhni's probing questions, regards, Rajan perhaps having a clue about this spirit! alarms his clout.. in fact he threatens Odhni and puts her off the family's ringer. Worst for me is that he is blas about putting Vyom's life at risk, despite so many mishaps his son suffers. Madhvi overhears Rajan's dialogue with Odhni, and as expected delves on the Odhni's warning.. she like always, silently blames Rajan's insensitivity regards Vyom's marriage to Sharanya. Shiv hears all! They clearly underestimate his power..
Shiv's metal ring of being around Sharanya continues as a much repeated sensation.. gives her the chills! even on her engagement day. How she defies him by hanging on to Vyom more than ever before. It boils down to keeping Vyom safe from this being that shadows her. Vyom undoubtedly sees this as pampering, the good feel that she loves him! feels its their nerves!! pity he sees not that Shiv follows her everywhere! Infact, Shiv tails both! inside the Bhist abode ,as Sharanya wheels Vyom in from the parking lot.
She is with Vyom, but can feel Shiv's cold presence around. Her priority is to get on with the ceremony,for which she is teased by Chandni, first she didn't agree but now she in such a hurry. Vyom appears calm in his wheel chair. Perhaps so because he is marrying the girl. Than suddenly,An action that has a familiar ring to it.. one of Sharanya's, earring is prised off subtly by Shiv! she notices it missing ,but Vyom spots it ! only its broken! But Sharanya's desperation to get on with the ceremony is challenged by Chandni.. as would be brides in complete grooming bodes ill! Sharanya has to go to her room to get another pair of earrings To me , feeling her earring was like a whisper, to go to her room. It's Shiv's tactic of delaying the ceremony, plus better still, to have some private moments with Sharanya .. where he can give her more signs that what she is about to do goes against their love!
Vidyut's unclean stray sights never leave Sharanya. Seeing Sharanya reluctant to leave Vyom, makes the man wonder what magic Vyom has cast over her? once again , Vyom suggests that its the magic of his love, that slowly casts a spell over Sharanya! His charm has a ring to it ,that will win Sharanya over!
Shiv watches Sharanya with eyes that hungered to see her.. Sharanya puts on her new set of earrings. Signs happen to tell her he is around her. The flicker of lights! The shadow on the curtain! She revolves, the power goes! But Shiv can see her in the dark. Her sight in the dark shadows, lights up his hollow eyes and cold heart..
The call from her mother to get the ring while she's in her room.. is another moment, when the unexplained occurs. In the glow of the candle that Sharanya lights, she gets to behold the ring Vyom is meant to give to her! exactly her taste.. he knows it well! Only the person who chooses it and who it 's from is the tall, wandering spirit of Shiv! Seeing her ring is a mistake! As her mother points, out! she asked Sharanya to fetch the ring they chose for Vyom!! she couldn't have seen her ring as that was still with Vyom!!! Shiv smiles.. let them go in circles! once more Sharanya is plagued with what she surely saw! But it seems she didn't!! Furious once more she has a go at Shiv ! she knows he's about! he can do what ever, but she is not turning back! The engagement will go ahead!
Sharanya gets stronger at defying Shiv! yes she will make her way to join Vyom with the ring in her hands. Shiv too begins to enjoy this game where she by passes him. Only his near fury, whips up a blustery gale !enough to sweep Vyom's ring out of her hands! The metal band rolls and ends up before Shiv's feet!was he the one who deserved the ring ,not Vyom! For Sharanya it is Vyom! and she picks the ring up! as she brushes past Shiv her veil slips through his palm.. and desperately he clenches his palm.. empty and waiting! these stolen moments with her.
Shiv will try his hardest to stop this ceremony. The chandelier directly above Vyom in his wheel chair begins to lurch dangerously!but Sharanya catches the peril hanging above Vyoms head and runs to protect him! Shiv ceases the tremor and the chandelier stands still like before! Sharanya is becoming more vigilant by the second! Yet again she calls for the ceremony to proceed! But family members, Rati and Aditi delay the ceremony by running rings around the couple! Shiv too lurks about taking account of all.. he waits.. waits.. Till Nawab sees him and barks. Nawab barks get louder! Vyom chides him loudly and somehow his wheel chair jerks backwards with great velocity! Enough for it to be wheeled backwards out of the front door into the garden fence , straight into two sticking out metal pipes! Both families look in shock! As Vyom's arm falls limp at the side of the wheel chair! Dark screen.. Shiv voice recites ,Innumerable times, I tried to make you understand, that love will be the cause for one's death. "Take a look what you done, stupidly. The breath gets indebted and a life ends here. he seems to be blaming Sharanya for vyom's mishap. Hamlet53 5.12.17
This engagement cannot take place!! the episode has that tone, there are those who dont want it, Shiv, Vidyut,Madhvi,chandni.. there are those who want the ceremony, Rajan, Sharanya, vyom.. Despite the delays, it seems the engagement goes ahead.. as the precap is based on Sharanya looking at her engagement photo.. the glass smashes, once again she questions shiv's spirit what it wants of her? her engagement ring ends up in his palm! Broken.. he wants her to break her bond with Vyom? or else he will ring the knell! shiv ruled the episode.. with his images..
