Entertainment industry, especially acting involves lots of intimacy. Not just physical , but mentally also co stars get closer and are around each other 24/7..

And then there are the usual romantic and sexual scenes... kinda forcing them to be together..

Is this why actors have so many affairs and hookups and break ups divorces etc ??

Not just BW , HW as well.

I think with the 'celebrity' tag no matter how small or big you've made it, it comes with some egos and fans that allow actors to think they are slick and invincible. I think spouses go in knowing this is inevitable. Personally I would never be able to be with a BW/HW actor because I cannot handle that, but others def know that it comes with the package and are ok with passing affairs and casual sex their partners may have.

Troubles arise when and if 1. the sex becomes a real relationship/mor and 2. if people/public find out and now you have to save face as the spourse and gotta act like you will not stand being cheated on
