wow 2nd poster and yet no sight of women in this film.
BASED ON A FILM ABOUT FEMALE ISSUES.

are all feminists females?

men are feminists too

so why can't they be in a poster for a movie on female issues

😆😆😆😆
challo okay - men know better than us.

they are allies but why should they speak for us?
he can be on the poster - but the issue is for us women, not men.
The first two posters and no Sonam & Radhika yet they are the ones suffering?

why does he get the glory of being the main lead like he did in Toilet.

Women get raped & molested in India for going to the toilet - men do not.
That movie should have centered around Bhumi but alas...

Again, he will save us poor women from our menstrual problems, you see we are too weak.😭😭😭

movies aur feminism ko mix mat karo bhai

movies are business..

the toilet example you are giving would not have even collected half the amount it did if bhumi was on the posters and akki was no where and this has nothing to do with gender but simply the fact that jo bikta hai woh dikhta hai

if bhumi..or radhika or sonam were bankable stars..we would see them

again..it is them not being bankable not them being females

lets not pull a kangana here and divert lack of stardom to women vs men

look at deepika padukone heading every poster of padmavati..she is a woman too..but gets the coverage coz she is hit and bankable..

hope this helps..

I was pronouncing the title wrong.. LOL , I thought it was padman , rhyming with atman (sanskrit word)..
Its actually Pad Man , haha..

On a very important side note, I wish Pads were eco friendly, because pads along with Diapers are one of the worst pollutants..

There are actually cloth pads available, I have used them, they are more comfortable and hygenic.

I think it's not about stars being bankable or not..Padman is a true story and Akshay plays the titular role. It's about his struggle where even his wife goes against him bcoz of his mission..so more than Sonam or Radhika it's about his sufferings and his story.
Deepika plays The Padmavati in Padmavati so obviously she would be on the poster..it would be stupid of the makers to not have the queen on posters of a movie about her

Actually the movie is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham who invented low cost sanitary pad for rural women.

You can watch him giving talk here, it's very inspirational.
