Has anyone noticed how in most show (mainly Balaji productions) it is always shown that the girl (lead actress) always come from a poor family. How come that guy is always from a rich family, how come not the girl. It is absolutely degrading to show that the girl's family never has any money or is extremely poor.

at times, it can be degrading towards the girl's family, but i think that Balaji likes the Cinderella effect. middle class girl meets rich guys and they eventually fall in love - face dilemmas in the process. very common theme.
