Need I say more? This episode completely belonged to my girl- Sharanya! ⭐️
Of all the ranting I have been doing lately for Vyom's outrageous act, here's something- he definitely wasn't counting on living when he made that fall. He wasn't thinking straight. All he heard were Sharanya's repeated rejection of his love. Had he slashed his wrists in front of her- THAT would've been emotional blackmail. It's a favourite tactic applied by sick, stalkery men to make the girl they desire bend to their wishes. Vyom did no such thing.
He didn't choose a manner which was easy and death-proof, if done rightly. He chose to jump from the terrace of a relatively high-rise building and it could have certainly meant death if he was not taken into the hospital on time. 😕
Chester Bennington is still reminisced with so much fondness, despite him committing suicide and actually dying. Would you call him a coward? Or an emotional blackmailer? Let me know. 😊
Anyway, coming to the episode- I felt like everyone behaved like they were supposed to behave. Maddy was again playing the blame game, Rajan was swinging b/w abusive Hubby to crazed with concern Daddy, the senior Bishts were clueless, Bedi family was placing bets on Vyom's life and everything was fair in EDT La La Land.
Except Sharanya. 😃
For the second time watching EDT, the girl had me in tears! From blaming herself for Vyom's condition to going haywire watching him at the brink of death- Donal was so freaking flawless!
Those little nuances, her rubbing his palms vigorously, her reminding him of his Ramu Kaka duties, her telling him how she loves his presence in his life, AND HOW THERE WOULD BE NO ONE TO SAVE HER WHEN SHE'S SCARED! Suck it up everyone, our girl is the original deewaani here! 😎
AND CAN SOMEONE JUST GIF THE BLOODY PART WHERE SHE NEARLY HUGS VYOM IN DESPERATION AND SHIV BACKS OFF??? That was so freaking symbolic!
My Lioness has been wearing the Lamb's skin for far too long now, finally, her true form is out there for everyone to see. I loved loved loved her challenging Shiv so much! It's like she's telling him that she's the trench he has to forego in order to hurt Vyom...hayyeee!
Now that I'm done with my Donnie fangirling, here are the other bits that highly interested me.
Amar was B.R.I.L.L.I.A.N.T! The way he went from being a helpless father to a desperate, abusive husband to a begging father was just too good! 👏
I can bet on anything that this whole cooked up story about Maddy bribing Odhni was just that- a cooked up story. She keeps threatening him with the past, so he created leverage against her that shall incriminate her in Vyom's eyes, if shown to him. Waah re Bedi. 😎
Brownie points to Namik for being so good without dialogues! Anger, will to kill, despair, disgust and then finally- unadulterated wrath! Superb Mr Paul! 😃 👏
So, Shiv was ready to kill Vyom- something he hasn't done all this while. He has hurt Vyom physically number of times but it was never too fatal. So what changed tonight? No prizes for guessing this one. All this while, Sharanya's feelings towards Vyom was never a threat to him, but now he knows how she feels about Vyom. Hell, she has practically SPELLED IT OUT LOUD! Obviously he wouldn't just sit back and watch Vanya having their Happily Ever After. He was prompted to action only when Sharanya's love came into the question. And he was also prompted to leave when Sharanya's love came into question.
I'm impressed Prateek, too impressed! 👏 👏
