My take is Anchal is married and her husband / bf is dead thanks to the Rainchands. A's mom knows the game and is in it... all of her dialogues seem to be layered and are full of double meanings.

Anchal has no love for K or R. But she is out to get both. K is dumb... but R is smart. Wonder what R's game is though.

Both ranvir and anchal's actions are unbelievable. ranvir being shown madly in love with anchal after that case, and even despite that, sacrificing his love for her when he finds out kabir loves her, and doing everything he can to help kabir marry anchal. He also accused his mother of changing the kundli to stop the wedding yesterday, but she seemed entirely honest when she said she didn't do anything.

Then you have anchal, who more than ranvir, was at loggerheads with kabir during and after the case, yet being such a strong-headed, smart and practical girl, she is shown to have easily fallen for kabir and agreed to marry him straight away.

Why does this give me race 1 movie vibes? For one, saif played the older brother ranvir (lol), and akshay khanna played rajiv, the younger half or step brother to ranvir. How funny is it that the the older brother in both this tv show and movie are called ranvir, and that in both the show and movie, the younger brother's names sound similar to the name ranvir. Think about it. Ranvir, then you have rajiv and kabir. Wierd! Unintentional? 😕

Also in race 1, there were attacks on ranvir, and rajiv acted like the concerned younger brother, whilst bipasha played sonia, who was ranvir's ex, and rajiv fell for her. So ranvir, despite still having feelings for sonia gave up his love for her and got her married to rajiv. It was only after the marriage it was discovered that rajiv was the one behind the attacks in ranvir, and he was doing it to get hold on all the property which ranvir had, but also it was revealed that sonia and ranvir knew about rajiv's intentions and were actually together the whole time, so getting sonia married to rajiv was a plan of ranvir and sonia.

Now I feel like in the movie, anchal and ranvir are together, and planning against kabir, and somehow ranvir is also against his mother. I'm not sure how kabir fits into this, considering vatsal said kabir is a positive character, although we have seen nothing but negative traits, including treachery through and through with his character. I also think ranvir was the one who changed the kundli and is the one doing all these tricks to stop the wedding.

But if this is true, the makers are really messed up for copying stuff straight out of a movie and not crediting it. But somehow I feel there is more and if my theory was true, wouldn't the makers have made this clear that the movie is based on race 1 to avoid controversy?
