The amount of movies which are being shelved these days have got to be the highest in the recent years for sure. It feels like we are writing about a movie getting shelved weekly in this column. So this week we're not going to be talking about a new movie been shelved, but talk about two different movies which have not made the cut. The rst one is a major European remake which had already got a major star attached to the lm but they could not crack the story for the Indian sensibilities and hence the star decided to walk out of the project. The lmmaker is still keen to cast the movie but with no proper adaptation in place the movie looks as good as shelved only. The other movie in question also had one of the biggest stars of the country keen to be a part of the lm which was going to be directed by this director who gave a mega blockbuster recently as well. They both had said yes to this biopic a few months back but the actor got cold feet just after a few months, only because he realised that the director was not capable of handling the movie's mega structure. I guess everyone saw this one coming for sure!
