EDT~ ep 23, 22 11.17, stance~ What's their game?
It 's clear there is a game on, between two contenders namely Vyom and Shiv, one real the other unreal. Both compete for the trophy , the love of the fair maiden Sharanya. In their own inimitable style both lay their claims upon her love in the past. Unlucky for them and lucky for the story tellers, Sharanya has lost a small chunk of past. However due to answered prayers and modern medicine, the young maiden returns to her present life, and rather gingerly attempts to pick up the pieces of her life. But she gets embroiled in the throes of one proclaimed love of her past, and the odd sensations of some presence about her. But the one main snag with Sharanya is , that she continues to be unaware that there is some battle going on between two competitors where she is the prize. This episode ,for me is about the contenders, how they go about playing their game! What sort of mettle do they possess individually ? that propels them? pumps their adrenaline? Well for starters , both opponents are aware that the stakes are high! and so are the odds! As Sharanya still suffers from a memory glitch... but it would be apt to add here, that love for Sharanya is the biggest weapon they wield against each other. So for me the big question still remains.. who does Sharanya love? or ever loved??
To reveal himself to Sharanya is purpose driven! remind her of their past love, to start life anew with her! However Shiv has enough clout to operate on his own without any one's assistance . He is also mindful of not leaving his photographic images with anyone! As Odhni finds out when she clicks his photos! the image is blank! No one needs to know his modis operandi! He is his own boss! Unaccountable to anyone! an electrical current to those who pry! All Shiv wants is to be around Sharanya!
But Vyom wants the same! He brings his fully charged love , supported by the gush of musical love ditties he holds in his heart for her .There is no discomfiture in returning to her house from whence he was expelled from. His love is his armour! That which gives him now a submissive rather than a vigorous approach! on his return!
Since this is war conditions, between Shiv and Vyom! getting access to Sharanya will be far from easy. The Bhist's welcome Vyom, but he insists that Sharanya step out of the house to meet him! lucky for Shiv , the girl is in deep slumber! Besides her families calls and bantering for Sharanya will not reach her, just like Vyom's car horn! The super powerful spirit Shiv takes all measures within his special abilities! Cautiously by the powers invested in him! Sharanya sleeps to the world! while Shiv... by powers of enchantment freezes the window and door frames! Sharanya will not exit her room! nor others can make an entry! Reminds me of a captive sleeping beauty, in castle with iced exits! Sealed from the outside world! much to their surprise, her family spots Sharanya's shadow! but discover the girl has turned cold against Vyom! but little do the Bhist s know it is Shiv! who casts their daughters shadow on the floor!... Shiv smiles! It's the black night! under its blanket his world comes alive.. till day breaks.. he will be Sharanya's keeper!... no outsiders will steal her from him!!!! Shiv tilts his neck... no one least of all that love struck minstrel!! Vyom...
Back at Bedi house,Vyom's parents are at each other's necks! Rajan yet again takes his wife in a cruel arm lock! Madhvi calls her husband Rajan selfish! He retorts, his selfishness lies in the family's interest. Chandni as usual pries, wonders what his real motive is? in uniting Vyom and Sharanya? Is it only to help his son achieve his love? or is there another motive? What is Rajan, and Chandni's game for that matter?
Shiv is in full control! Vyom too gets the picture, Sharanya begrudges him.. but he too accepts, but then he does what comes to his mind! camp right here! Before her house! In the dead of this cold and frosty night! if Sharanya can conjure up an act.! Vyom can do one rightway too! He will use his talents! strum his guitar... hopefully the tunes will reach her heart! Too his soulful tune he will add his voice.. the lyrics will convey his sentiments to her.. he pours the inner recesses of his heart..."His insanity is due to her... she walks into his soul, his insanity is fair, it travels right from his veins to his soul.. why is she unaware, of his plight ? this is the test of his patience, pouring out like tears from his eyes.. time is running out... Vyom rides on a wave of being hurled aside.. but upheld with the obduracy of his proclaimed love!..
But Sharanya sleeps.. as Shiv crouches silently by her beside.. listening to Vyom's strumming and nearly dying voice.. yes.. funnily he too feels the same for Sharanya , but his game is to keep her forever! She is not for sharing Vyom! your game is nearly up...
Shiv worries not .that her family empathises with the mad minstrel! Sharanya will never know that some wanton, wayward lover called Vyom , sang to her the whole night long! But Shiv knew his hour of bliss too is nearly over...
Dawn breaks! Shiv's face falls.. the ice tight seals he put on her door and window thaw much to his dismay.. outside, the ruddy Vyom is on the last rung of his love song.. "time is running out.. Sharanya hears Vyom singing, his guitar strumming! She jumps out of bed stops by her opened bedroom door! She senses a chill.. notices the drips of drops of water from the wooden door frame! She runs out to see Vyom! he nearly swoons in her arms, cold and very nearly exhausted! She asks him, what he is doing here? With besotted eyes he replies, he was waiting for her to come! Her family briefs her! he was up the whole night! she was told off by ignoring them! Sharanya defends she truly didn't hear them! Shiv looks out from inside the room window.. how her family rallies around him..they can all they want!! but she senses him beside her even without seeing him!
Of course Vyom will be taken into the house! Game point to him, thinks Shiv.. after all he carried out an emotional sit in outside her house! Vyom is given much love ,warmth and healing.. he finds it hard to take his eyes off Sharanya .. the tale is shrouded in mystery and suspense .. that it 's hard not to suspect who is real ?and who isn't? One wonders is there a game plan in characters minds? While Sharanya muses.. here she wants him to be far from her.. but look at Vyom he is becoming more clingy! Vyom stares at her dreamily as she puts band aid around his finger cut by the guitar string! and muses, this is just the starting point .. see how it all pans out.. not long Sharanya , before you too cannot help but fall madly in love with me.. so really all this sit in outside her house was yet another master stroke at making her fall in love with him.. will Sharanya play into his hands?..sharanya helps him drink coffee .. and he muses a song, to express the validity of his love for her..I'll still love you, will die for my love for you..
Shiv is most displeased.. as he watches Vyom , Shiv voice over recites.. his game plan, "if your love hinders my path.. then your death will be the solution.. although life will be a maze.. Shiv's poetry v. Vyom's songs.. hamlet53 23.11.17
How long will the two contestants carry on with their games? High time the plot progresses further.. Vyom might continue with his fervent wooing, but Sharanya still wants to walk away from a love that is likely to give pain.. she does wonder about the dripping water around her room's door.. all three Donal,Vikram, and Shiv were stars in the episode..
