Finally watched the episode. The antakshari was such a nice change of pace. We've been having this Juhi-Mishti track for so long; it feels like it's been ages since we've seen AvNeil and the Khannas (Including Neela in this as well) be a family. I've been rewatching some of the old episodes, and I miss the breakfast table scenes and the one on one Neil and Avni would have together, where Neil would tease his tubelight wife. Hopefully, once Juhi is out, we'll be able to get more of those, even though Vidyut is still in the background.
Anyway, the song choice for AvNeil was perfect. Ishqwala love just shows what Neil felt for Juhi was puppy love. It was not the real deal. And Juhi heard and saw it with her own ears and eyes.
I thought it was hilarious ( in a very pathetic way) that when Prakash was singing for Shweta and Neil was staring at his wifey, that the camera would pan on Juhi's face and it was shown that she was staring at Neil. LOL. She's so clueless and really lives inside her own head.
The way this Juhi character was written on paper ( back when they idea came to the CVs minds) was a good attempt at addressing hard real life situations, i.e. human trafficking, potentially rape... I feel like this character was ruined by Poonam's lack of acting skills and somehow along the way, the CVs changed the storyline to make us like her. And it butchered the original character and the Nayi Soch they were trying to promote.
The seed of doubt was planted today. In Avni's mind for sure. It's still unclear what Neil thinks at this time, but as I mentioned I've been rematching the old episodes and today's Neil reminded me of the time when Avni was accused of being with Ali, and Neil hadn't even given her a chance to explain. Not because he didn't believe her but rather because he didn't think she needed to give an explanation. So, I'm currently holding on to the belief that Neil knows his mother better than this. That despite everything, she would never do something like this.
Ugh, Juhi. What a snake.
That's all I have to say about her. I cannot wait for her truth to come out to the Khannas and I want Vidyut to really back her in a corner and make her suffer because that would be karma. When Vidyut and RP talk to Juhi, it always makes me think of a predator playing with their food before attacking...
Neither RP nor Vidyut want Juhi to get married to Neil, and Juhi is really fooling herself to think that they are on her side. Juhi is either really naive or really foolish for her to think that the people who imprisoned her for 5 years and forced her to be a prostitute will allow her to finally have her happy ending, and that too without a cost.
