Benafsha blames Hina for starting her link-up rumors with Priyank

Bigg Boss 11 contestant Benafsha Soonawalla, who has been surviving elimination for quite some time finally got evicted in last night's episode (November 19, 2017). In an exclusive conversation with the TimesOfIndia.com, Benafsha spoke about her Bigg Boss journey and her proximity to her friend and fellow housemate, Priyank Sharma.

"Priyank is just a friend. I don't understand why people thought there is something going between us. People misunderstood and got confused with my sense of humour. I never said that I love Priyank. It was just a joke. I always had a smirk on my face whenever I told him that Chal bol de bolde main jaane waali hoon, apni feelings bolde... but people assumed that I love him. Please people should understand that it was a joke. He is a good friend that's it nothing else," said Benafsha.

When asked whom does she blame for starting the rumour about Priyank and her love affair, she said, "I think Hina started it. She is the one who is responsible for creating this. I don't mind if you share your opinion about something, but it is not necessary to interfere in every matter and tell what you feel. Hina always did that. The first time she teased us, I tried stopping her from doing it. But she paid no heed and continued it. Also, I am most disappointed with Priyank. In order to protect his image he went and told people that I keep following him. Puneesh and Bandagi created such a hullabaloo when I slept on Priyank's bed. I was feeling low, so I slept on his bed that day for 5 minutes. As far as my closeness with Priyank is concerned, I don't think I did anything wrong if I hugged and kissed him when I was feeling low."

The Model-turned-VJ is happy that her boyfriend Varun Sood is on her side, "Varun knows who I am and what I am. I am happy that he is in my support. When media called him to ask him about Priyank and my equation all he said that let Benafsha come out she will talk about it. He understands my sense of humour. But my family is very worried about it. All I want to say instead of assuming people should have waited till I come out and speak. It is mentally very disturbing," stated Benafsha.

Benafsha is missing the Bigg Boss 11 house the most and would like to keep in touch with Hiten Tejwani, Vikas Gupta and Priyank Shara after the show.

On being asked why doesn't she want to meet Hina, Benafsha stated, "She said a lot of things about me in the house that I got to know after I got evicted. I didn't expect this from her. As I shared earlier she forces her opinions on others. She is very dominating."

When he shared the news of Priyank's girlfriend Divya breaking up with him, Benafsha said, "I think it was a very impulsive decision. I am going to talk to her. She is a very good girl and I like her. I am going to explain to her that there's nothing more than friendship between us."

The former Roadies contestant feels that Vikas Gupta, Hiten Tejwani and Shilpa Shinde deserve a chance to win the show. She also apologized to Shilpa Shinde and called her an amazing human being.
