"Madhu" Padmini waking up Madhu

"Yes mom I'm awake" Madhu

"Today is the first day on your final exams. Are you ready?" Padmini

"Yes mom. I'm ready. You just pray for me. And everything will be ok" Madhu

In college

RK was walking after the exam finished and he heard two students talking

"Hay did you see what Madhubala did in the exam?" Danish

"I can't believe it till now" Kabir

"Yes who can believe that she is a cheater all these years" Danish

RK ran to Dr. Mehol's office, who was watching Madhu class during her exam.

"Dr. Mehol I heard there was a cheating incident under your watch today" RK

"Yes can you believe it? Madhubala Malik was cheating" Dr. Mehol

"What did she do?" RK trying so hard to control his anger and to be calm as much as he can

"While I was watching them. One of the girls, Deepali I think is her name. She pointed to me. And showed me a paper. Under Madhubala's disk. And she said that Madhubala is cheating from this paper. I read the paper and it was about the same subject the exam was. I confronted Madhubala. Is it her papers and her handwriting and she couldn't deny it. Therefore, I have forbidden her from the exam and she is in Dr. Arnab's office now. I heard they will expel her completely" Dr. Mehol

"I have to go now. Thank you doctor" RK

He went to Dr. Arnab's office to see a crying Madhu there

"Dr. Arnab I need to talk to you" RK

"But we are now in middle of something Dr. Kundra" Arnab

"It is related to the same subject" RK

"Ok I'm listening" Arnab

"Ms. Malik you can go and wait in my office" RK

"But sir Dr. Arnab..." Madhu before RK interrupt her

"Go to my office now" RK

"Dr. Arnab said.." Madhu

"Go to the office Ms. Malik because it will not come to you" RK

She looked at Dr. Arnab and he nodded for her to go. Before she go out RK called her and went to her

"This is my office key, it is locked. Go and wait for me there. Don't open to anyone till I come to you. Don't talk with anyone. And give me your mobile" RK

Madhu looked to him astonished she can't understand why is he doing all this for her. She handed him her mobile and went to his office. Waiting for him there

"Dr. Arnab I know Ms. Malik she will never ever cheat. She is a very hard working student. I'm sure it is a trap for her" RK

"Dr. Kundra I know how good of a student she is. And it is really sad to see her in this situation. But there is a cheating incident happened. And all her class witnessed it. We can't just ignore it" Arnab

"But sir if she is innocent how can we punish her" RK

"Dr. Kundra. We feel that she is innocent. But the fact is, she was busted cheating. And everyone saw it. We can't ignore it. Or we will allow others to cheat. We can't decide depending on our feeling. We decide depending on facts. And the facts are. She had papers with her handwriting while taking her test" Arnab

"I agree with you. But we need to investigate to know how these conflicting facts came together. Yes it is a fact there was cheating incident today. But it is a fact too that Ms. Malik is the best student we have. So we need to investigate" RK

"But we can't allow her to take the exams until she proves her innocence" Arnab

"And we can't forbid her from taking her exams until we are certain she is guilty" RK

"So how we will solve this equation?" Arnab

"I have a suggestion" RK

"I'm listening" Arnab

"We will prevent her from taking exams in her class. She will take all her exams in my office. Under my watch. Or any other doctor you choose. By this, we will not ruin her future and allow her to take her exams. In the same time, she will be well monitored. She can't cheat again. And we will investigate the incident. If she is found guilty then she will be expelled. And if she is innocent then her exams will be considered" RK

"Ok I agree with you. Do it" Arnab

"Thank you sir. And please one request" RK

"What?" Arnab

"I want to investigate it myself. I know this class for years now. And I can find out the truth sooner than others" RK

"Ok I will let you take care of this mess. You know Dr. Mohan Kundra is out of country and he gave me the faculty's responsibility I don't want him to find this mess when he is back after two weeks" Arnab

"Don't worry sir. Everything will be ok before his return" RK

"Now go and give her the exam to take in your office" Arnab

"Thank you sir" RK

RK left Dr. Arnab's office and he saw Madhu's mobile flashing in his hand. He picked up the call

"Madhu are you alright?" Padmini

"Mom she is ok don't worry" RK

"Rishabh! What did happen? Where is Madhu? Why is her mobile with you?" Padmini

"Relax mom, one question at a time. Madhu is fine don't worry about her. I'm here with her. She just had a little problem in her exam. And I solved it. So don't worry. And she will be late today. But I will drive her home. So just, relax. Our Madhu is completely fine" RK

"I trust you Rishabh. Please take good care of her" Padmini

"Sure mom. Now I have to go and give her the good news. Bye now" RK

RK went to his office and found it locked from inside. He knocked the door and waited for Madhu to unlock the door.

"Ms. Malik. It is me. Open the door" RK

After a while , she opened the door. He found that she was crying hard but she controlled it then opened the door

"Sir believe me I didn't do ..." Madhu

"Hush. Relax. I know you didn't do anything" RK

"Sir you believe me?" Madhu can't believe that he trust her

"Relax. I know what happened you have nothing to do with it. You have no bad intentions. You did nothing wrong" RK

"Do you trust me sir?" Madhu

"Yes I trust you completely. Now you will take your exams here in my office until we sort things out" RK

"Thank you sir" Madhu can't control her tears

"Here drink some water and sit here and finish your exam" RK handed her a glass of water and her exam papers

Madhu is trying to solve her exam but she can't concentrate. RK noticed that she erased almost each answer she wrote and rewrite them repeatedly. And she can't stop crying

"Dr. Malik. You came a long way to earn this title doctor Malik. You just need one step. It is only one step and you will have this title officially. So don't allow anyone or anything to prevent you from reaching your destination. Forget all that happened and relax. Calm down and think clearly to pass your exam. I know you the best. You are the best student here. None deserves this title more than you do. It is yours. So just, earn it" RK

Madhu nodded with her head and stopped crying. She took deep breath and started to answer her exam calmly. When she finished she handed her exam papers to RK

"Thank you sir" Madhu

"It is ok" RK

"I'll go now. Thank you again" Madhu

"Do you know what time is it now?" RK

Madhu looks at her mobile and got shocked

"OMG, it is 6pm" Madhu

"Yes and none is in college but us" RK

"What?" Madhu got scared

"Yes everyone left a long time ago. Did you forget that your exam was finished 4 hours ago" RK

"What can I do now? How will I go? And my mom she must be worry about me" Madhu Paniced

"Don't panic I told your mother you will be late" RK

"You did? When?" Madhu

"She called when I was coming here on your mobile and I told her that you will be late. And promised her that I will drive you home safely" RK

"But sir I don't want to take more of your time I can go alone" Madhu

"You will not leave the building alone. I'm telling you none is there. I can't leave you alone. And I promised Mrs. Malik. I can't break my promise" RK

Madhu couldn't do anything but to agree with him cause she was really scared when he told her they were completely alone in college

"Just wait for me here I will bring the car close to the main gate. I parked it far" RK

"You will leave me here!" Madhu

"Why are you so scared like this? The car is far from the gate and it is a dark long road. It is not good to walk it alone just wait here. Five minutes and I will be back" RK

"But" Madhu

"No buts wait here" RK

Then he went to get the car laughing at her and calling her coward in his mind.

Madhu was waiting for RK in his office. She closed the door but didn't lock it. When suddenly the lights went out from the entire faculty. And she heard footsteps. Her heart stopped from fear
