Jitubhai: Once I collect a good amount of jewelry, it will come handy for our both the daughters wedding.

Manohar: Of course. We have a good collection of jewelry. You can choose any design that you want.

Gopi comes and gives a glass of water to Manohar, Jitubhai, & Urmila.

Manohar: I guess she is Gopi.

Jitubhai: Yes, you are right.

Manohar: She was very small when I saw her. She looks prettier than these jewels. Also, she is more beautiful at heart.

Hearing this, Urmila gets jealous and calls Rashi.

Gopi: I will go and bring her.

She goes to Rashi's room and sees her rehearsing for the college skit.

Gopi: I'm sorry for disturbing you. Maamji is calling you.

Gopi & Rashi come down. Rashi selects her jewelry and helps Gopi to select the best. They serve him the dhoklas & the sweets. Manohar blesses the girls and leaves. Jitubhai goes to drop him at the railway station.

Manohar: I guess Gopi has got a lot of proposals.

Jitubhai: Yes, but since times are changing, peoples thinking also change. There should be someone who respects her values.

Manohar: I am also running a marriage bureau apart from the jewelry business. Do you know Parag & Kokila Modi? Their son Ahem is assisting them in their business.

She is well educated & is working as a Chartered Accountant in a big firm. She has lost her parents & is staying with her uncle. She is very much lovable.

Kokila: Business will always be there. It is not going to run away but you don't get good girls again and again. Even your elder brother Sujal got married at the same age. So, this is the right time for you to settle. We are going this weekend to see the girl. If you like the girl, we will proceed.

Kashish takes him downstairs. Rashi shows the place to Ahem.

Everyone come near the swing.

Shashank asked, "Why no one is sitting? It looks like everyone is getting formal."

Ahem & Gopi sit on the chair.

Ahem: I don't know how to start. We are meant to take a decision about the next step of our lives but unless we know the past of each other, it will be hard to decide about our future life. I have done my schooling in IIT Mumbai & studied at Xavier's College in Mumbai. I have done my MBA abroad with some diploma courses in literature, mass communication, and journalism. I have been trying to find myself. My brother says I am too emotional in business matters. He calls me Bholu out of affection. I have loved a girl in my college days. She was sitting on the bench ahead of me. But I could not muster up my courage to tell her. It was good in a way because I got to know that she already had 2 boyfriends. I tried smoking & drinking with my friends but when bhabhi caught me red-handed, I promised to her that I won't even touch the cigarette and the whiskey bottle. My dad does not know about this but I don't know why I had to tell you. Bhabhi also told me that you are fond of reading. What are your favorite books?

Gopi: I read books like Parineeti Swamy written by Saratchandra, Rabindranath Tagore's Atithi,

Ahem: Is it in Hindi?

Gopi: They have English versions as well & are equally good.

Ahem: I guess you read spiritual books.

Gopi nods.

Ahem: Do you pray to God daily & believe that you will get what you want?

Gopi: I do pray to God. Some of my prayers are answered & some are unanswered.

Ahem: You can ask me whatever you want. If you want to ask me about the girl, feel free to ask.

Gopi: I have nothing to ask I have got all the answers but I want to tell you that apart from spiritual books, my favorite subjects are Maths, Physics, Technology & Accounts. I have done my schooling here. I have studied in college at Pune and did my B.Sc and CA.

Ahem: If you wish can we meet one or 2 times more?

Gopi nods.

When they are about to leave Rashi & Kashish comes up. Rashi pulls Gopi downstairs.

Kashish: So, what are your views?

Ahem, blushes.

Kashish: Your blushes says yes. I will convey this message to mom & dad.

She runs.

Ahem: Wait. I want to meet her one or 2 times more for her sake.

Kashish: You are generous.

Kashish to Parag: It is a yes from Ahem's side.

Parag is happy. He asked, "Where is Sujal?"

Sujal goes to Ahem & said, "Congratulations!"

Ahem: Thanks.

Parag to Jitu: Congrats, Ahem has approved your neice. If there is a yes from Gopi's side, we will proceed with this relationship.

Jitu & Rashi is happy. They go to Gopi's room & said, "Congratulations! there is a 'yes' from the boy's side. What did you decide?"

Gopi: I accept this relationship.

Jitu: Would you like to meet him once or twice more?

Gopi is shy.

Jitu: I'm fine with it.

Both hug each other.

All of them celebrate. Urmila comes out & said, "Jitu, I need to talk to you."

Jitu & Urmila go to the room.

Urmila: It seems they want to do the engagement today. They are bigshot people. Ask them how much dowry they want. There has to be some money for Rashi's marriage too. I won't allow you to spend the entire money.

Jitu: They are not the persons to ask for the dowry. Sometimes, you cross all the limits. Rashi's marriage has got a long way to go.

Jitu is about to leave. Parag comes. He said, "Sister, I am sorry for interrupting. But since both the families are going to merge, I would want everything to be clear. Please don't keep any doubts. Give a token & a coconut to Ahem & make him a part of your family. We want only Gopi. We don't want anything else.

The rituals begin. Ahem & Gopi exchange the tokens & rings.

Both of them get engaged.

Shashank: So uncle has got engaged to aunty.

Parag: Now she is officially your aunt.

Shashank: So soon?

Rashi: Your uncle liked her so much. Hence, we could not help it.

All are going towards the hotel room.

Shashank goes to Gopi and said, "This is a chocolate for you."

Sujal & Kashish take the blessings from Jitu. Shashank comes to him. Jitu carries him & said, "Little samdhan, I could not speak to you properly.

Jitu goes to Parag & said, "You come to Som Sarovar with your family for some time for a change."

Parag: Sure. We will definitely come. We want an excuse to meet Gopi.

He said to Kokila, "The pundit took the marriage mahurat after 6 months. Give him something to fix the wedding date earlier."

Both the families decide to go to Som Sarovar the next month.
