I can't believe this !!! I mean they are going to show a girl getting married to a guy who has no value of her life . Considers her not worth anything just because she is of a lower caste . Now we are going to see Nimki getting insulted day in & out in her sasural . What regressive shit is this ? 😡

I watch TV show for fun and entertainment. For reform I go to the society. If not I will only be watching documentaries and award winning movies and no Indian shows.

Will I go for the ML in real life? Biggg NO.

Looking fwd to some drama and intense romance.

Even I watch for fun and entertainment but as a consumer I never fail to complain what I don't find funny or entertaining. At the end of the day its business and the creators deserve a feedback, either positive or negative.
I chose this show because the producer said it was about women empowerment and Nimki would re discover herself eventually. For the same reason I watched Tamanna and Dahleez, one of my fav shows from the Indian makers which were fictional shows but with realistic approach to societal issues.

Right from the beginning the show had been about the communities which face discrimination based on caste and casteism.
Nimki is already an empowered woman who knows what she wants in life and does exactly what she wants without any fear of society. Her father brought her up to be a confident young woman with a great sense of self worth even if she comes across as someone with her head filled with filmy fluff.

The show is more about empowerment of the likes of Jhumri and her husband who think they should do what upper caste community people tell them to do as well as about changing the mindsets of people like Tettar Singh family members and make them accept that all men and women are equals.

This can happen only through the interactions between the Tettar family members and the central protagonist Nimki and these things can be shown only through family drama as far as Indian audiences are concerned.

As the name itself suggests it is about Nimki's journey as Mukhiya and not her love story or some couple story.

Hope that shaadi of Nimki and Babbo happens soon. Waiting to see the story move forward.

Till now, Nimki is only delusional. Her father keeps her happy and gives in to all her all demands just to keep her away from the memories of her traumatised childhood.

chot jaat girl marrying ucchi jat boy is the most recycled storyline of Indian shows. Its sad such topics still rule our television. However, marriage and love story is also inseparable part of any Indian show irrespective of what the name of the show suggests.

As far as interaction between Nimki and Tettar family is concerned, I am not sure how marriage helps without a love story.Nimki deliberately refuse to believe there is any discrimination at all. If she gets married she will still deliberately ignore it because she is not interested in matrimony in first place. Its the idea of lavish lifestyle that excites her. She will obviously have that even if Tettar fakes all that for his MLA seat. He has to keep Nimki happy for she will be the official Mukhiya. As far as taunts are concerned she will safely ignore them as she does now.

Otherwise, Nimki has to fall in love with Baboo and get rejected to understand what discrimination is.

Nimki is definitely not as delusional or as stupid as she seems.
She knows that they are being discriminated against but chooses not to address it because her father doesn't like to confront those issues and he would rather live with those issues.I

Indian Television audience prefer family drama format over every other format and so even serious issues social evils which are prevalent in the society and if one wants to address those issues in fiction space they have to use family drama format be it films or television.

In Television it is saas bahu who rule whether anyone accepts or not.

What happens if and when Babbo Nimki marriage happens remains to be seen. Who knows? It could very well be Babbu Singh who ends up falling in love with her after marriage 😛

As for Tettar Singh he may not find it that easy to go against the Mukhiya. She may seem like an airhead but she definitely has a mind of her own.
In her election campaign all the ideas that she came up with have been successful.
If one scratches the surface one can see that see that there is lot more to Nimki than just her eccentric ways.

Tettar family is trying to kill Jhumri husband so that Jhumri will get some sympathy they must show Tettar family fixing Babbu marriage with Nimki and after the death of jhumri husband tettar decides to marry Jhumri this means more sympathy what say?? it is possible up to me because some few is saying and seeing sizzling chemistry between the goon and Nimki.
If Babbu was not rich Nimki would have blindly attracted to him?? Babbu and his crooked smile...😡🤢
