Everything is PR. Why do you think Salman not apologise for the rape remark? So that the publicity goes on and on till the release. Same with intolerant SRK and Aamir. SLB's PR game is also well known in the country. Kangana's publicity is crying in the name of Hrithik. Bollywood does only this to promote their big movies and smaller ones with no PR win because of content.

Don't mix up other PR stuff with this one, here Real Life Historical figure / sentiments of ppl are used to benefit your film, nobody does that.
