Because if he won't save shilpa fhir bhi usko bashing hoga...ki abhi abhi to frndship ki ek jacket taak nhi de skta...and jacket was a small thing baki cheezo ke samne...vikas nominated hoga to bhi issue pata hai woh nhi jayega...shilpa hoga to bhi issue pata hai woh nhi jayega (it's obviously seeing how much shi---kas is pushed and salman has made it quite clear to them ki their angel is being loved)

vikas talked with ben coz priyank told him to.

In case of priyank he didnt interfere though he didnt like it.vikas &priyank are really good friends outside so he can get upset with priyank's decision.also coming to shilpa i guess u havent watched last night's episode shikas have patched up.also vikas never had bitterness about shilpa.he just got irritated by her & always wanted to patch up with her.so finanally when its happening its not a big deal to sacrifice a jacket for the peace in life.
