Getting attached to any show will only end in disappointment esp if its an Indian show coz they never stay true to the original storyline they had come up with. And we, audience are to blame for that. Maybe not all of us, but vast majority of the audience out there likes OTT dramas like Kumkum Bhagya, Kundali Bhagya, YRKKLH and Shakti. Thanks to the crap in those shows that fetch TRPs, makers of decent shows assume that showing that kinda crap will help them get more TRPs and in that process they screw the show beyond repair and the loyal viewers who liked the show for a certain novelty quit it halfway. Amba's character was the USP of the show but they have butchered it beyond recognition. Preet who was level headed and practical acts like a love sick puppy at times. Lesser said about Raj, the better. I had seen Neel in shows like YHM and Rajnikanth and he was pretty decent there. I had high hopes when he got a lead role but he is the king of OTT acting in this show 🤢 Farnaz is doing a good job but Preet's character looks so weak now. There is no consistency whatsoever.
Sadly, I am proved right again as far as soaps being stupid are concerned.
In the name of TRPs, they drive the existing audience away and resort to the aunties for saving the soap, but these aunties are already occupied elsewhere. Why would they leave that crap and come and watch something else?
So they are left with even fewer audience than before.
Neel's acting has been OTT ever since his entry into the PH. He was good before. As I said before, looks like the crap is getting to the actors too.
