Great tutorials you got there, I'm trying to do one simple tag using your tutorial, but I'm not sure what does the instruction in this line

Step Three : Open the vector image file and copy the image into your black file. Then i have cut the image according to my desired shape

I don't understand which black file you are referring to and how did you cut the image?

Good to see your tutorials, Koeli di. I am Kalyani, remember me, the one who use to PM for every small queries about siggies.

I was away from IF due to problems in my life and with time I lost motivation and to worsen everything hard disk crashed and work goes kaput. But thanks to your tutorials I will once again start to edit .

I have bookmarked your page too just to speed things up.

Texture Blending

I am going to show you how to blend texture with images.
It's little complicated to explain but once you master it, it becomes easy. In this tutorial i am blending three pictures.

Step One: In this tutorial i have taken 400x500 pixel file size. Then imported Dakota Johnson's picture from fifty shades freed. You guys can see the text imprinted above.
Now take the eyedroper tool and pic the backgroud colour present underneath the text. Check the colour box below and verify whether the colour has changed or not.

Step Two : Now select paint brush tool and fill up the text portion with the same colour completed. Make sure you have selected a soft brush.

Step Three : Import texture of your choice (you need to choose texture wisely since not all texture gives you nice blend.) and change the layer to colour burn. (I tried to give deeper effect here since the actual background is light. In case the original background is darker you need to change the layer mode to either lighter or screen to get the desired effect.

Step Four : In the above picture you can see the picture is not blended with the texture. Select the texture layer and apply layer mask as shown. Take the eraser tool and start erasing the texture applied above the image. I have erased the entire texture from dakota's image.

Step Five : I have taken another texture and pasted in a new thread.

Step Six : I had changed the layer mode to divide and then changed the layer opacity to 40% (This again can depend on you when mode you want to give and how much opacity you want to put). Then i have erased few textures from the image not all so that it looks nicely blended.

Step Seven : (You can skip this step) I have merged the pictures selecting all the layers and clicking on control/command + E . Then go to filter>sharpen>smart sharpen. Please follow the parameters mentioned in the snap shot. It gives a nice noise effect.
