EDT~ ep13. 8.11.17 My Stance ~ lay the ghost to rest..
It's an attempt to eliminate one's long held fears, worries, or distresses about something that happened in the past. Commonly people recollect ,talk about their issues and expel their fears out of their systems. Alongside there are those who silently remain obsessively plagued by past mental or physical traumas and are often referred to specialist support and treatment to assist them to return to their normal life style. Today's episode further explores the methods how best to retrieve Sharanya from the gremlins in her mind that torture her intermittently. We get to see conventional a medical practitioner working alongside with a spiritualist whose code of practice is to act as a medium in communicating with dead souls or non living spirits..
Alongside we get to see Vyom, also suffering with bouts of anxiety over Sharanya being out of his sight.. she's always on his mind! enough to give him a rather horrific nightmare of being stabbed. Knee jerk reaction !only one way to find out check up on her! Somehow his soul knows something is amiss.. intuition or is it true love? or she has transmitted her preoccupations on to Vyom as well. Mind you Vyom is suspicious now, hence even in his sleep he'll fret over Sharanya's being well!
Vyom is very nearly right Sharanya goes through the stabbing ice cubes and draining blood out of them sequence. Her screams always within the house call for her father! The strong male figure mindset? He'll combat with the danger she faces. Her family calms her and makes her see its water and not blood she sees! Temporarily she as usual gathers her frayed nerves.. family rescues her! but Nawab is aware of more than meets the family's eyes and barks!
Another male figure with a restless mind is Vyom. He calls Aditiya as Sharanya is unavailable.. Aditya narrates ,Sharanya saw blood inthe kirchen and she is flustered. Vyom does what a man in love has to do zoom over to his beloved at an ungodly hour. Nosey , aunt Chandni lurks about and wonders what the lad is up too? What is this prying woman's game? She too adds to the mystery!
It 's one thing to be groping in the dark directional less, but another to convince her family she is back in control of herself. Her line always after every bizarre incident is, she asks her family for her space in her room.. but then the reccuring flood of flash incidents swap her. She gets a response call from. Dr. Amit . he wants to meet up as a matter of urgency at a park. It 's to do with Kapali hills. He asks her to keep it as a secret from her family and come right away! I think his instruction to keep it from the family may be due to the opposition he is likely to face ,if they discover the unconventional means he plans to exploit to rid her from the flash images she suffers from!..as dr. Amit speaks, the ghost sits beside him.. staring at him with blood shot eyes.. looks like some ghost busting exercise is about to take place! The being knows where its next venue is going to be!
He has to be loony stark mad! to turn up at her house in the middle of the night ! after Aditiya's hyped up tale! Vyom looks at her intensely.. conveying through his eyes, yes, a tad paranoid for her safety.. Sharanya teases him again for being her most obedient servant! With a straight face he takes a gibe at her negligence! That's why he has to intervene. She stares at his face and suddenly renders all speechless by,asking him to stay over night! Her familycheers at the interest she shows in him! Mr. Bisht approves his spending the night as the boy has over the years earned his trust! Vyom chooses his sleeping quarters.. the lounge settee! Strategic place from whence he can keep an eye on Sharanya's room, he says with a twinkle in his eyes.. Sharanya too smiles with approval.. her father gives her a piece of advice , hang on to Vyom, nice caring men like him are a rare commodity! The ghost lurks and takes in all rather bitterly.. and silently. When all turn in for the night.. Vyom wants to talk to Sharanya but she wants him to sleep.. so she can sneak out of the house for her clandestine meeting at the park...
Vyom still has things on his chest he needs to let her know. She stirs abruptly and is in shock to see him in her room! he watches her startle! Which dismay's him.. he only came to check up on her.. but here he frightens her out her wits! regretfully he tells her, he feels very inadequate ,that after all this time around her, he still fails to alleviate her of her fears! Seeing her afraid.. seems a punishment for him.. he assures her, that it 's love that defeats all manner of fears! Really, he appeals for love from her.. that will set her free of all dreads, and phobia's.. he leaves the light on in her room.. the light of love, which dispels all darkness.. with this message Vyom , leaves her. But the ghost stands vigil outside her room...
When the coast is clear.. Sharanya sneaks past a sleeping Vyom. Dr.amit's words matter to her..
The finale scene is all synonymous with the extraordinary ,sinister, eerie, hair raising, spooky goose-bumps, paranormal. The imagery itself , the dark night ,with choppy ,fleecy ,dark clouds, the howling wind, the hooting of the night owl! The medium makes her entry! Odini flashes a ghost detector, chants and invokes any passing by spirits! Sharanya arrives, dr. Amit calls he , tells her he's by the fountain!
Mysterious , major incidents happen. The ghost, assaults the doctor and eventually strangles him to death! There goes the story of Kapali hills! and then recedes into the shrubbery! Sharanya is unaware of murder! Odini continues her search for the being.. and mistakes Sharanya for a ghost too! The smug in the rug is the ghost itself! It might just know a lot about Kapli hills!
Well if dr. Amit was planning to ,lay the ghost to rest ? the case just might suffer a set back..as he had her recent medical history.. Shiv.. expresses himself in verse.. The episode introduces the medium Odini. Special effects were fairly good.. Vyom Sharanya scenes were short but meaningful. The ghost made its presence felt.. precap: Sharanya's mental state is hinted upon, she may be questioned about her phone call to deceased dr. Amit Vyom reacts badly in the police station.. risks being booked.. Amit's murder is an unexpected happening..
