EDT~ ep 11.6.11.17 My Stance ~ How sweet can revenge be?
In other words getting back at someone for a harm they inflicted upon you. Such fulfilment vengeance brings in for being hard done, by another person. Vindictiveness often takes away good sense and replaces it , instead with a sense of deserved reprisal for the opposing party. Today's episode clarifies the motive of the ghost, it's presence around Sharanya. The only riddle that confuses Sharanya and her loved ones is who ,why and what is shaking her up mentally?
Once again Vyom acts the guardian angel that protects Sharanya from the tall figure that watches in the lawns.. Shiv muses his sentiments, reactions through his, unique style of verses towards Sharanya, you are far away, but not oblivious of me. Don't gather memories, as if they are objects. In your name Ive buried our dreams. No graveyard is bigger than my heart! The way I've set in fear in your soul, even my memories are not in your heart. Every despair and scream has a relation with you. The body may have died.. but the soul is not! All your efforts will go in vain! This is my revenge! and not a trial.. Well for me he's made it clear there was some history between them. He clearly feels wronged and is in no mood to forget and forgive!
While the families rally around a knocked out Sharanya. Vyom panics on her body feeling cold.. the ghost watches unseen and wonders, she got away this time. Sharanya does get away due to some staunch supporters.
The session at the hospital is interesting. She has a one to one consultation with the doctor. He is able to calm her instantly, by reporting all her obvious health checks appear normal. But as the expert, he can see she's preoccupied. Open ended questions, encourages her to speak as a patient about her symptoms. Her responses are intelligent and she shows awareness of possible side effects either of her coma, or medications. Quite openly she mentions seeing, images of snow, ice, stargazers, sudden sense of cold. A venue Kapali hills.. she explains she saw someone yesterday.. feels someone wants to communicate with her. Due to her willingness to speak clearly in privacy.. the doctor is able to give his diagnosis and possible solution.. the doctor notes Vyom's peering face and decides to have her family in to give his medical opinion. That Sharanya is over exerting her mind,to recall her past ,which is making it difficult for her to remember. Thus he suggests , she makes pictorial representations on a piece of paper , of whatever comes in her mind! Her drawn images will joggle her memory and she'll get a picture of her lost years. Basically its using self made illustrations to tell a story of what one thinks and feels! Its an individual own recording of inner most thoughts. Vyom thinks it's a simple yet near perfect solution. To me he approves of the pragmatic approach! Which it is. Its evidence before one's eyes. Mind you the doctor being one, prescribes medication too.. I wonder what he prescribes, tranquilizers?? Since he insists she needs to relax! Vyom gives the doctor an odd look , when he gives her his card..should Sharanya feel the need to call him.
It's an interesting combination, using science and expertise to heal, along with the need to seek spiritual and faith healing. Sharanya's need to visit Shiva's temple is heart felt and gives her mother and brother yet another opportunity to renew somewhat slightly strained bonds with Vyom. He insists on taking them. They all climb into his car.. including the ghost who follows every where that Sharanya goes.. but it seems the steps of the temple is the cut off point between good and evil... the ghost , due to what is within its heart and mind, retraces his forward following Sharanya's steps. Even Vyom ,a once non believer is given clear passage into entering the god of gods, the mighty vibrant Shiva's temple! With hand on Sharanya's shoulder.. Vyom , acts as her support like before. Only this time there is a desire to know about the lord as well.. up and up they proceed to the sacred courtyard of the mandir..
The ghost is prevented from progressing further. His feet slide back wards and he suddenly flees most agitated. Sharanya feels a chill behind her but Vyom's hand of comfort on her shoulder.. takes away the cold!
The ghost ends up in the woods! Talls trees loom above his head! he feels reduced to nothing! Her memories surround him all around, like the woods itself. Causes him to run aimlessly, lost ,lonely with no way out! Suddenly Sharanya's praiseworthy chants to the god ,as she tips and pours milk to cleanse the Shv linga.. agitates the lonely ghost in the forest as he presses his hands on his ears to block the lord Shiva chants that Sharanya repeats.. the name of lord Shiva, drives the ghost in a state of frenzy ! It's as if Sharanya's cry and Shiva's name attempts to exorcise the negative in him, which he refuses to let go! How he runs, hurls himself against tree trunks ,so hard! Enough to draw blood!!! Is this ghost a man in a ghost's clothing??? His madness increases as he falls on the woodland path of dead leaves! The devil in him struggles and in retaliation he bellows the name Sharanya!!!!!! It resounds!!! she stops her chants! Is in a trance, and with kalesh in hand her feet slide backwards out of the temple the kalesh topples out of her hand down the step! sound alerts her near ones!! ... another call of her name.. Sharanya!!! catches her like a death wail! powerful enough, to turn her knees to jelly.. and she crumbles sideways, caught by Vyom in the safety of his arms!..
Sharanya is transported to the car. Vyom makes a decision, it's been harrowing for her ,visiting the temple. Henceforth she will not return here again!
The ghost.. gives a wicked smile, exactly what he wants.. for this temple, worship ,prayer, obeisance all act as a sanctuary around her! thus acting as a repellant for him from getting to her! he watches them drive off and muses, devilishly..
"Once there was a lover.. the outcome of love will be such? That will be my revenge this way? neither god will support me, nor will god exist! Every prayer will go unanswered . every truth will be revealed!
I found the consultation scene, the temple scene, Shiv's frenzy in the woods powerful scenes. Our trio was great.. Shiv's true colors are exposed. I would like to know what went on between Shiv and sharanya? The recap looks horrific, a stabbing! Can Shiv really kill Sharanya ? if he is a real man.. then killing her would be a premeditated act.. or is the scene a figment of her imagination? Hamlet 53 7.11.17
