Chandrakanta to end, when will mahakali?

Chandrakanta is ending in January. Is colors weekend shows finite? In this case will mahakali be a finite show? How long will it run?

In one of the interviews Siddharth Kumar Tewary was questioned about the number of years for which Mahakali will be on-air since it's a weekend show. To this he replied that they'll handle all such things based on their capacity to cope up with the stress and pressure related to the saga. Till the time they can hold on to those, the show will be on-air.

He did say that Mahakali is a finite series and they've decided to bring it back with seasons. So yes, the next season will be produced depending on the response given to the former.

Thanks. I don't this show to end. It's a fantastic show. I hope they run it more. It should be turned into a weekly show.

Naagin season 3 to come this Jan; so that's why Chandrakanta has to end; yes all colors weekend shows are season based shows; someone long back asked UN abt when would MK end; UN replied long miles to go and its a season based shows; so after a break we will have season 2 for sure :)

But they cannot actually recreate any story bases on a goddess. They have to abide by the original story. Anyway I hope this show will atheist run a year long.
