HUSNAAA!!! 🤗🤗🤗 AAAH this is so good! I'M SO SO GLAD WE'RE ALL WATCHING A SHOW TOGETHER AGAIN and are looking forward to it given our old experiences with thriller expectations.😆 My essays are back and your uber kindness is too.😭

OMG SO MUCH WORD TO THE BOLD PART!! Ranveer gives you nothing and makes you work hard to know him. That in itself has intrigued me. How he works, how dangerous can he get, what limits is he ready to cross? His callousness about a murder, his cool composure in the face of literally any shitstorm. All of this is intriguing me so much! I've been in two minds about Zayed too, on one hand I kind of had wished he'd be more emotive or some other brilliant actor had done ranveer but now I'm slowly liking that zayed is ranveer partly because someone else might have overdone in emoting. With Ranveer he's supposed to give nothing away and I think the fact that Zayed adds a whole new freshness and ambiguity to the role adds to it. He's making Ranveer so tightly controlled that you're literally asking for more. I guess I'll warm upto the acting once i get onto watching in continuity bar the few weak moments from everyone, it's pretty okay and has improved in the last few episodes.

AGAIN WORD TO THE WHOLE BROTHER EQUATION! There's some sort of enabling and exploitation going there. There's more than meets the eye and i cant wait to find out!!

Aanchal is such a breath of fresh air. Cannot stress enough on that. And I'm so so glad for a heroine leveling the playing field and doing things her way not the whitewashed right way. it makes it so much more interesting!!

definitely. The murder also looks like quite the setup to introduce the characters, and propel the story in its rightful direction. This could go all ways but i'm pretty sure Kabir didn't do it. Ranveer on the other hand would be far more meticulous had he done it but again could he've known about it or not and what's the story is an enitrely different gameball.

P.S. WAITING FOR YOUR POSTS <3

IKR? I LOVE IT JUST AS MUCH AS YOU DO IT that we're all in this together. 🤗 It makes the journey for twice more exciting, thrice more interesting and definitely a lot safer because I know you're here to grip me tight when/if I lose it. 🤣 Again, completely with you on every single word you said up there. @Bold - Eh, me? What? No bro, like no. 😳 I'm still pretty scarred by my previous forum-ing experience. So, please let me be under your wings , at least for a while. 😆 I do have something to say on today's episode though and I can't wait until you put up another one of yours, so I'll just do it here instead. Don't read it before you have watched for it'll contain spoilers.

Btw, are your posts going to be a daily thingie or weekly thingie or just random thingie?

SPOILERS AHEAD.

'You must take your opponet into a deep, dark forest where 2+2=5 and the path leading out is only wide enough for one'. - Mikhail Tal.

Doesn't that sound so Ranvir Raichand to you? It does to me. And mann, I have to tell you this even though I don't quite like the comparison as much myself owing to what she eventually became but Ranvir reminds me so much of Maya. The same calm and collective approach, the same cold and calculated stares, the all knowing being, the same insane conviction in oneself, the same thoko monologue thingy (😆), that's all so initial-Maya too.

Anyhoo, Ranvir, the character stole the show for me today, especially his dialogue (quite liked his other monologues as well) about being the takkat : power himself and asserting that true winning isn't in being the air or being the tree but being the power itself and yielding it accordingly. I'm still sceptical about how genuine his relationship with his mother and brother is because they seem too adorable and yet too suspicious. To me, beyond the whole equation the family seems to share which may or may not be genuine, Ranvir appeared to have reigned his way through everyone's emotions. Almost like manipulation, emotional exploitation, like moving the pawns in the game of the chess. Except he isn't any ordinary player, he's the grand master. That whole sense of ambiguity, enigma, and thrill about him as me on the edge. He led Aanchal, Kabir and his mother into spinning the wheels in motions, all of them working towards the very same agenda, just in their own respective ways that'd eventually lead to the disclosure of truth thereby proving his innocence. This guy, he definitely is something h u g e. Also, Zayed's growing on me, today has to be the first episode he seems to have gained a grip on his character. He needs to keep his eyes wide open though. Half the time, it seems as if he's just about to doze off. 🤣

Nothing much to say on Aanchal and Kabir than we already have. I do expect the performances by all three to keep getting better with time though. That's essential because for a change, all 3 characters seem to have been written well, at least for now. Oh and KaVir's mother though, her character again has too many parallels going on with EHT's Sakshi Goenka.

PS I'm not into shipping anyone with anyone for now as shipping tends to cause all the havoc. Seriously though, is it necessary to have a love triangle? 🤔 Oh, it does, of course because hindi tv shows thrive on it big time. 😆 BUT Ranvir and Aanchal already do have a thing going on in their favour; chemistry. Some sparks, I can see.

@Bold : I liked that dialogue too today, gives you real insight into how Ranveer thinks, he is super confident that he is absolutely sure of him being power itself. Confidence itself is an amazing drug, it can make you move mountains. Zayed is giving the calm, confident, collected vibes off well but still holding something back that keeps making you wonder, what is genuine with this guy and what is not?

Hi-five! 😳

That's exactly why he's such an enigmatic character, it gets tough separate to facts from fiction when analysing Ranvir because you think may not be it and what it is could be something you never thought of. You really can't be sure with this guy because its hard to detect when he's pulling a facade and when he's being his genuine self.

I do expect much better acting but that could be because I have seen some crisp actors out there. So, my standards that way might be too high but given today's episode, credit given where due, he did well.

As an audience Ranvir is a character that interests me the most. Or may be my biased liking for such cold/manipulative, calculated characters makes me like Ranvir more. Well he's shrewd, restrained both in having any external show of emotions and in his actions too. His eyes are cold, words well calculated.. There are these small nuances like changes in his expressions/eyes, those are the things that capture me the most.. like you've mentioned in the post, he has a facade that he very aptly carries on, there has to be something, someone that can get him over the edge, wriggle an actual reaction out of him, and what that trigger is, I look forward to watch..
I'm intrigued to see how his character shapes.. But the second character I'm interested in is probably Anchal. Like till now she's been shown as a capable lawyer, on the "good" side, willing to go any lengths for justice, but am curious as to if her character has any depth, does she have any kind of ulterior motive, is she the morally upright person she thinks herself to be?
Too many questions to go about but hardly any of them answered yet.! I'll look forward to how it plays out..!

Word. He intrigues me too and a large part of that intrigue comes from his ambiguity. And I love LOVE the subtlety with which his character is shown. Like you'd miss the minor naunce if you blinked. There's nothing told to you, you've to work for it. they only ever infer and imply and you need to wreak your brain to find meaning in that. THIS IS SO EXCITING TBH. He's calculative and shrewd and he always thinks ahead. And his composure makes you think, like you said, what could possible undo this? or can it be done?

Aanchal intrigued me when she proved to be different than your normal run-of-the-mill female characters. I really loved her as long as you get to your desired destination approach and that lipstick scene was so funny! I love my characters grey but YESS YESS the questions definitely plague you. Also interestingly she too has a more impulsive streak in her like Kabir which is such a stark contrast to that of Ranveer's. Looking forward to this so much.
