Why

There would be no food stop.

Whats the point of taking a road if you cant eat through the journey.

In theory that would be great. But in reality I am a chicken. I prefer my comfortable, safe road which has been traversed a lot by people. I don't want to be the one to be a pioneer. I would take the road less travelled because someone has gone before though not a lot. But the road untaken means I would have to be first and I don't want to be that person.

That's what Robert Frost meant in his "The Road Not Taken"

He was annoyed that his poem was misunderstood and taken too seriously than he intended
