My thoughts are quite here and there, because I am eager to know how Satrupa will tackle this situation.
Chhal ke badly chhal. Though this is applicable to Anami blackmailing Satrupa, using the minor tag... I was actually thinking in terms of Satrupa fighting Sudha.

Sudha is engaged in this game, using Anami as the pawn. Satrupa seems to be in a no win situation, since her own daughter is pitted against her. The time to win Anami over with love and care and tears is long past. Satrupa has always been a caring mother, to me. She will never be Pagli panditayin, because that is not who she is. All children are not the same. All mothers are not the same either. Satrupa was not a pagli panditayin even to the son who adored her. So, Anami should simply stop searching for Madhu in her. Let her take off her glasses of hatred and see her mother for who she is. She is unapologetically herself, even if she is not right all the time.

In the current situation, Anami is not herself. She has allowed the lie to mislead her. Her actions alarm all her wellwishers. What would be a good plan of action in this situation?

Chhal ke badly chhal? The one way Satrupa can get rid of Sudha is to pose her as the biggest threat to Anami in Lal Mahal. She can turn the very reason Anami used against her, to turn the situation around. Of course, this is my impatience to see Sudha off, speaking.

Let Anami curse her matlabi mataji yet again, for framing Sudha... Let Sudha decide to play on Anami's sympathies and retire hurt...Our girl needs to attend college, learn business lessons from her Guru, taunt Janta hawaldaar and judge matlabi mataji. There is not really any place for Sudha, other than to bring Satrupa and Baldev together as a team fighting her. 😉 And of course Anami would welcome one more reason to hate Mataji.

This is a wish list. Even if it doesn't play out this way, I hope Sudha won't be thrown at us everyday for the rest of the show. As of now, I'm enjoying her track... I hope they don't cross that thin line to repetitiveness and redundancy. 😊

i agree totally with u.i know some are hating anami for hurting satrupa but this situation is a necessary evil.because still now sudha was pulling the strings from behind the curtain but now satrupa knows what game she is playing. so it will easier for her to plan her next move.so i think indirectly anami has helped LM by bringing sudha in front of them.and also anami is so stubburn because she has done nothing wrong whereas satrupa is always guilty in her eyes.when she realise how wrong she is about sudha she will also realise that not everything is black & white.she has to go thru this to become the heir of LM.

👏 Well said.
Dheeru had told Anami that she belonged to a generation that didn't see the obvious at times... Or didn't bother to observe properly... So this is a lesson for Anami, as well as a means for Satrupa to know the danger. I feel they pulled the Sudha card too soon, so I hope it is temporary and just to shake LM.

Yes ! Word ! 👏
One should realize that all relations have a particular tuning and frequency. They are all delicately balanced, with just the needed tension on each thread. Anything less or more, the whole web comes tumbling down.
Anami does not look for a mother in Satrupa - has never seen her in that light, and whenever Satrupa tries to be one ; Anami dismisses her ; her '17-year-old selfishness" throwing her off and Pagli Panditaayin's memories dominating and resisting any forced entries. She fails to, under these fragile circumstances to look at her as a person, who has given birth to her - some one trying to mend the bitterness of the past - to any extent as possible.
Similarly, Satrupa looks for her daughter who is a twin to Vatsalya, someone who has the capability to "replace" him. Despite the scorn, she believes she can hold her back - of course, owing to a weakness, which makes means for blackmail. Some one like him - who will support her, be her solace. She takes pride in the fact that like herself, Anami is also proud, egoistic and stubborn. She believes she has what it takes to be the heir and future of Lal Mahal - " like Vatsalya". But subconsciously, never what it takes to be Anami, "her daughter".

Her own actions of the past, has come back to haunt her. Her rage in the previous episode - fuels from the fact that - Anami consciously went ahead and aided Sudha, despite the warnings ; and she is helpless enough to do anything about the trap, Anami has fallen into except shout at her. Half the disappointment comes from the fact, that she still holds onto Vatsalya. Sees him in her. Yet the murderous rage, that she could never be Vatsalya - as he would never go against Satrupa's words.

The fight is between Satrupa and Sudha - as is evident from Sudha's vow. Somewhere, deep down in her eccentric mind, she still believes Baldev to be hers, just coerced by the family to marriage with Satrupa - and Baldev then "with no feelings" - now "willingly" supporting them. She thinks of Lal Mahal as a place which has truly sucked out colours from her life ; hence why she took pride in wearing the colour of clothes as this palace - the colour of passion - in both life and death. Anami is just a pawn, while Narottam is a knight. Hence why they are so important. They are shields, game changers. The queens are the last resort, but the power they come with is immense, almost invincible. With unlimited boxes to move and no restriction in direction - they shield their king in a convincing manner.
They are shielding and attacking their King - which in this case can be Baldev. ( Or perhaps, even Lal Mahal ) While the pawn might be of least importance in the beginning - as it seems now - they have a special property. Something which has been playing around in my mind since Anami said those words. A pawn while manipulated initially ; as it advances to the eighth box ( i.e it has reached 7th and safe), it advances to a Queen. (~known as promotion). And that is Anami. Hence one ends the game with more than one queen they had initially ; which in this case is Anami and Satrupa.

Narottam is a true knight on the chessboard. He is fighting out of obligation and duty towards his mother. A blind belief and trust in her. A knight is the only one capable of leaping over other pieces. Hence the only one who can change the game, sacrificing themselves. Not equating to death, meant it in a sacrificial duty manner.

So despite everyone, worrying over the fact that Anami is going to get manipulated - rest assured. THis had to happen. Otherwise, Anami would be one of those readily forgiving leads - who understood the bad immediately yet always protected them, and tried to cover up for them in a scarificial manner. But here, Anami has been chalked out to be one of those beautifully realistic woman.
Like they say " Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" - and this scorn can be of any form of love, in this case the love of a mother.
She is a girl - young at mind, shield put up. Like a shell outside, yet soft as a bear inside. Hurt, fellings overruling any sane thought. Attracted towards a glimpse of supposedly "genuine" emotions of people - wom she empathizes with. Yet, sharp and readily learning from mistakes. Egoistic and proud, like a real person. Self respect and a way with protecting herself.

Like Dheeru said, she can recognize the pain. But just that their generation is way to short tempered, easily provoked that they tend to not go past the obvious sight. Unlike Vatsalya who tried to mend things in the household, she will succeed in it because she is uprooting the weed from the root.
Vatsalya searched for the white in everyone, until he was blinded by the brightness and fell down hard. Anami ? She is in the dark, attracted towards glitter rather than gold. She will learn the hard way that all that glitters is not gold.
Phir bhi drama tho chahiye hi chahiye, agar do episode mein - she sees through Sudha - kya ek aur mahina show chalega ?😆😆

Like I said, " Kabhi Khushi, kabhie gham - Dil hai ki maanta nahin, Phir le aaya dil majboor kya kijiye, Hum saath saath hain aur Jo jeeta wahi sikandar. " 😆

Anami threatens in turn that if Satrupa does not do as she says court will capture the assets

Satrupa chose Vatsalya over Anami

I'm so looking forward to chhal ke badle chhal.

Anami learnt blackmailing from Satrupa & Sudha, probably learnt backstabbing from Dadi

Sudha fascinates me, thanks to Sangeeta. I can watch this for 2 weeks, TG, Anami is off to college is not babysitting Sudha.

@Ammu👏 Loved your chess analogy. May be it's the rites of passage for Anami, she'll emerge as the future Queen

Yeh chhal ka chakravyuh bal se nahi, akal se ladna hai...

Wisdom and percipience, the pith and crux of the battle of wills that has now initiated between two mothers, one wronged and one in the wrong, has none, yet all and sundry vying to take their respective stance on badgering realities that threaten to tear Lal Mahal apart, consume them with a subservient need.

And the one whose played along, unknowingly and ingenuously paves the way for the destruction of the clan that belongs to her, while the feral need to undo the unjust and stand by the withered pushes her into the deepest pit and path of revenge that she un-hinderedly treads, as one of the mother's lobbies for weaving an apocalypse and the other vows to avenge the innocent and correct the misdeeds.

A beautifully connoted episode after a long time, enriched with stupendous performances and top notch execution. And you have wonderfully penned down the dilemma that plagues the characters.

Great analysis, Ammu. 👏
I feel Satrupa loves Anami just the same as Vatsalya. She's just not able to express it. Vatsalya could read her well. Also, they were more like friends. Here, Anami is craving for a mother, while Satrupa us a different kind of parent. Added to that, she doesn't think twice about blackmailing Anami. She simply should put herself in Anami's shoes to know what it must feel like.

Anami, the pawn becoming the queen. What a beautiful analogy!👏 Sudha advances her pawn, never knowing when the girl would grow into a queen and turn back on her.

🤗 Sim,

Even I'm able to surprisingly sit through Sudha. Baldev had a nice reaction. I hope there's more to him now.

Anami seems to be unknowingly pushed towards that throne... The pawn will become the queen that leads a fair battle.

Yeah, thank god Anami is off to college.
Less of drama... Loving it! 😳
