Laajo: Kahaani khatam? Usne itni saalon apne pati ka intezaar kiya aur phir kisi aur ko apnana pada. ( Is the story over? She waited so many years for her husband and then had to accept someone else)

Raju: Hain bahut ajeeb hai yeh kahaani. Aur phone se kaise koi photo le sakta hai? Photo to camera se lete hai na?( Yes, it is a very strange story. And how can someone take a photo using his phone? We use a camera to take photos, right?

Jaidev: Yeh zindagi hai, koi pariyon ki kahaani nahi. Vaise Raju, aaj kal ke mobile se photo le sakte hai. Shayad yeh aadmi ke paas bhi ek aisa phone hai. (This is life, not a fairytale. By the way Raju, with nowadays mobile phone it is possible to take photos. Perhaps, this man also has such a phone.)( He said this pointing at a cot)

Raju: Vo to kabse soh raha hai. Kab uthega vo? Mujhe aur jaana hai ki shahar kaisa hota hai. Vaahan ke log aur uska parivaar kaise hote hai. Kya koi uska intezaar kar raha hai jaise ki apke kahaani mein vo chachi kar rahi thi? (He is sleeping since long. When will he wake up? I want to know more about how towns are. How are the people and his family. Is someone waiting for him like the aunty in your story)

Grandma: Pata nahi beta. Par agar uska koi hai, toh mein dua karti hoon ki vo apne parivaar se jald se jald mile. (I don't know. But, if he has someone, I pray that he meets his family as soon as possible)

Jaidev: Ise pehle use hosh mein aana hoga kyunki na toh police yahan par aayega use dhoondne na kisi ko aane dega. (Before that, he has to regain consciousness because the police will not come here to search for him nor will let anyone come.)

Police station

Thapki entered the police station and headed towards the police inspector.

Thapki: "Bihaan ya Bani ka kuch pata chala? (Did you get any information about Bihaan or Bani?)

Inspector: "Madam, humne aapse pehle bhi kaha hai ki agar kuch pata chalega to hum aapko phone kar denge. Roz yahan pe aane ki zaroorat nahi hai. Ek aur baat, ab se hum sirf aapki beti ko dhoodne ki koshish karenge. Agar apke pati zinda hote to ab tak humme mil chuke honge.(We have already told you if we will find something, we will call you. There is no need to come everyday. One more thing, now we will only search for your daughter. If your husband was alive, we would have already find him.)

Thapki wanted to say that Bihaan will surely return but she knew that he will not believe her. Nearly no one did.

The police officers are repeatedly saying that after being shot and falling down from a cliff there was hardly any chances of him not dying and if he did, wild animals might have already eaten him. That is what people thought though in her presence no one admitted it.

At least everyone had hopes of finding Bani soon.

Tina, Anu and Veer were sitting on the stairs outside the house. As soon as they saw Thapki returning, they rushed to her.

Tina: "Ma, Bani mili?(Mom, did you find Bani?)

Thapki: "Nahi(No.)

Veer and Anu at the same time: "Aur chachu? (And uncle?)

Thapki shook her head no.

Thapki: "Chalo andar chalte hai. Baaki sab kahan hai? (Let's go inside. Where is everyone else?)

Veer: "TV dekh rahen hain. ( They are watching TV)

Veer and Ananya went inside leaving Thapki and Tina alone.

Tina: "Kya sach me Papa aur Bani jaldi vapas aayenge?(Will papa and Bani really come back soon?)

"Jaldi ka to pata nahi par kabhi na kabhi to aayenge(Don't know if they will come soon, but one day they will come.), Thapki said while hugging her.

Inside PN

Bauji,Vasu and Suman were watching the TV. Veer and Ananya joined them, followed by Thapki and Tina. Bani's missing report was being shown on Dhruv's channel.

Vasu: Sahi vakt par aaye ho tum log. Mera mann khe raha hai ki aaj Bani ke bare main kuch pata chalega.( You came at the right time. I feel that today we will get some information about Bani.)

Thapki: Do hafte ho gaye hai. Pata nahi kis haalat mein hogi vo. Kash ki koi uska pata de aaj. ( It has been 2 weeks since she went. I don't know in what condition she is in. I hope today someone tell us where she is.)

Her talks were interrupted by a phone ring.

Suman, being the closest to the photo picked it up.

Suman: Hello.

On the other side: Kya app uss jo ladki laapata hui hai ke parivaar se koi ek hai?( Are you from the family whose child is missing?)

Suman( putting the call on speaker) : Haan. App ne usey kahin par dekha? ( Yes. Did you see her?)

On the other side: Kuch din pehle main gaon gayi thi. Vaahan maine use dekha. Kisi ladaaku aurat ke saath thi vo. ( Some days ago, I went to my village. I saw her there. She was with a woman who looked like wanted to pick a fight with everyone.)

Thapki ( snatching the phone): Kounsa gaon hai vo? ( Whivh village is it?)

On the other side: Bohipur.

Small village in forest

A group of children was playing. Grandma was sitting outside the hut and watching them. Suddenly, she heared something falling inside. She rushed inside and found the injured man trying to sit. He was however, still weak and was failing to do so. Yet he kept trying.

Grandma: Arey beta yuhi letey raho. RAJU RAJU! ( Son, keep on lying. RAJU RAJU!)

Raju: Ji dadi. (Yes, grandmother)

Grandma: Jaidev aur Ramesh ko bulao. Jo aadmi lekar aaye the ko hosh aageya. ( Call Jaidav and Ramesh. That man they had brought has gained consciousness.)

Flashback

Grandma is cooking. Then Laajo called her. Jaidev and Ramesh were placing a man on the cot. He was unconscious and covered with blood. Raju was the next to enter the hut followed by Vimal, the only qualified doctor she knew. Vimal asked everyone to leave the hut. This man needed to be treated immediately. He knew that it might already be too late but he had to give his best to save him.

11:00

The room became crowded by some children. Already Bihaan was feeling weak and now these children were making him feel uncomfortable. He was feeling suffocated in this small room full with children who were looking at him curiously as if he was an alien. The grandma returned, helped him to sit and handed him a bowl of soup.
Grandma: Naam kya hai tumhara? (What's your name?)
Bihaan:Bihaan.
Just then Ramesh and Jaidev entered the room and signaled the children to go out.
Jaidev: Tabiyat kaisi hai tumhari? (How are you feeling?)
But Bihaan's attention was elsewhere. He kept on looking at Ramesh.
His face seemed familiar.
"Munna. Bihaan muttered.
Ramesh, Jaidev and Grandma looked at each other confused while Bihaan tried to remember where he saw him. He could not remember where he had heard that name or who that man was.
Jaidev: Baad mein baat karte hai, abhi tum aaraam karo. (We will talk later. Take a rest now.)
Bihaan dozed off almost immediately.

Vasu: Humain police ko phone karna chahiye. Pata nahi yeh kounsa gaon hai. Main Dhruv ko phone karti hoon. Vo bhi Bani ko dhoodne jayega. (We should call the police. We don't know which village this is. I'll call Dhruv. He will also search for Bani.)

Thapki: Aap log police aur Dhruv ko phone kariye. Main jaa rahi hoon. (You call the police and Dhruv. I am going.)
Suman: Par Thapki tumhe pata hai ki vo gaon kahan hai? (But Thapki, do you know where that village is?)
Thapki: Nahi. Main Internet pe dekh lungi. (No. I will search for it on the Internet.)

Saying so she went to her room. After 2 weeks they finally got a lead. Thapki wanted to go there immediately. She searched where the village was, noted the location and closed the laptop. Just as she was about to leave the room, her mobile phone rang. It was an unknown number. She picked up the phone.
Man's voice: Hello! Bhabhi?

Bihaan woke up again. This time his head was aching. His chest was also paining. His arms were covered with turmeric paste. He could not understand where he was. He tried to recollect his thoughts. Just then Ramesh came into the room and kept some wood logs in a corner. Bihaan could see that he felt uncomfortable in his presence. He now remembered how he landed here and who that man was: who Munna was. New questions cropped up. What was he doing here? Why was he not at PN? Was Tina also here?

He wanted to go home and meet everyone but now it seemed to be too late. He had already been replaced by someone else. No one needed him now. It might be better not to return. Yet, he wanted to see his family members.

Grandma(seeing Ramesh worried): Kya baat hai? (What's the matter?)

Ramesh: Kuch nahi. Kya naam batayi thi aapne? Haan, Bihaan. Vo uth gaya aur mujhe aise goor raha tha jaise vo mujhe jaanta hai ya maine kuch galat kiya. (Nothing. What is the naam? Yes, Bihaan. He was staring at me as if he knew me and I have done something wrong.)

Raja: Acha, vo uth gaya. Mujhe usey kuch poochna hai. (He got up. I have to ask him something.)
Saying this Raja went to see Bihaan.

Ramesh: Kash kabhi aata hi nahi. Darta hoon kahin police yahan par na aaye. (I wish he did not come. I fear that the police will come here.)

Grandma: Vo yahan pe aaya tha ya tum log lekar laaye the. Rahi baat police ki, weh 2 hafton se nahi aaye, tih kya ab aayenge.( Did he come here or you brought him here? About the police, they did not come here since 2 weeks, will they now come here.)

Kal Vimal aa raha hai. Bihaan se uska pata poochna hai. Kam se kam uske ghar wale ko uska haal ka pata ho.( Tomorrow Vimal is coming. We must ask Bihaan his address. At least his family will know how he is.)

Ramesh: App hi pooch lijiye (You ask him.)

Inside the hut
Raju: Kumbhkaran vale chacha, kya saj mein phone se photo khichi ja sakti hai?( Uncle who keeps sleeping, can we really take photos using a phone?)
Bihaan: Haan. (Yes)
Raju: Par kaise? ( But how?)
Bihaan: Agar mera phone yahan pe hota to main tumhe dikha sakta tha. (If my phone was here, I could have shown you.)
Raju started to ask more questions. Bihaan smiled, temporarily forgetting his worries. He was a curious child who wanted to know more about the outside world.

Then Grandma entered the room, bringing with her some more soup.

Grandma: Tum kahan rehte ho? Tumhare ghar wale bahut pareshaan hongey. (Where do you live? Your family members must be worried about you.)
'Pandey Nivas,' he blurted out.

Thahaan's room

Thapki: 'Paan bhaiya!'

Paan: 'Humne sunna ki Bihaan...' (I heard that Bihaan...)

Thapki interrupted him.

Thapki: Kuch nahi hua hai usey. Bas vo bhi laapata hai. (Nothing has happened to him. It's just that he has also disappeared.)

Paan: Vo bhi matlab? Akhir hua kya tha? ( What do you mean by also? Afterall what has happened?)

Thapki narrated how Amma tried to force Bani to marry Prince and shot Bihaan and Bani left PN.

Thapki: Bhaiya, main aapse baad mein baat karungi. Abhi Bani ko dhoodne jaa rahi hoon. (I'll talk to you later. I am going to search for Bani.)

Paan: Theek hai. Agar humare madat ki zaroorat ho, to bata dena. (Okay. If you need my help, then tell me.)

Thapki hurried downstairs. She was about to leave the house when Vasu stopped her.

Vasu: Tum Bohipur nahi jaa sakte ho. Dhruv ko phone aaya tha. Vo ilaka bahut khatarnak hai. Aur aaj raat ko vahan pe curfew hoga. (You cannot go to Bohipur. Dhruv had called. That area is dangerous. And today at night, there will be a curfew.)

Thapki: Agar mere liye khatarnak hai to Bani ki liye bhi hoga. Main agar abhi jaaon to raat hone se pehle pahench jaoongi aur Bani ko lekar vapas aaoongi. (If it is dangerous for me, it will be the same for Bani. If I go now, then before night I will be back with Bani.)

Vasu: Hum sab chahetey hai ki Bani humare saath ho, sirf tum nahi. Kal tum Dhruv ke saath chale jaana. (We all want that Bani will be back with us, not only you. Tomorrow you'll go with Dhruv.)

Dhruv (entering the house): Vaise bhi vahan se jaane ka rasta blocked hai. Dusre rasta se jaaogi, toh raat ho jayega. Aur maine police inspector se baat ki hai. Usne vapan ke sabse paas police station ko phone kiya hai aur Bani ki photo ko mail kar diya hai. (The road to go there is blocked. If you will go by the other road, you will reach there at night. I have talked to the police inspector. I has called the nearest police station to Bohipur and he has e-mailed Bani's photo.)

Vasu: Acha hua Dhruv tum aaye. Thapki, tum aaram karo. Kal tumhari Bani laut aayegi. (It's good you came, Dhruv. Thapki, go and rest. Tomorrow your Bani will be with you.)

There was nothing Thapki could do. She could at least go and check if Bihaan has been admitted to a hospital. The only problem was that what excuse she would give. She has been saying that she went to hospitals to check if Bani had been brought there. The truth was that Thapki had more hopes of Bihaan being admitted rather than Bani as Bihaan had been shot and if anyone brought Bani to a hospital, he would have surely take her to the police station later. But today it was clear that Bani was not in Noida. Vasu would not let her go. She will think that she is going to Bohipur.

Vasu (on seeing Thapki thinking): Jao! (Go!)

Thapki relunctantly left for her room. After climbing the stairs, Thapki peeked downstairs. Vasu was talking to Dhruv. That meant she could use the stairs besides the house and no one will see her. That's exactly what she did, but she was caught.

Bihaan (upon realising what he said): Nahi nahi. Vahan hum pehle rehta tha. Ab kahin aur rehta hoon. (No, no. I used to live there. Now I live somewhere else.)

Grandma: Kahan? (Where?)

Bihaan: Er... Hum... Er... Bawan Road

Grandma (while handing to him to bowl of soup): Theek hai. Abhi tum ye lo. Jaldi se isey khatam karo. (Okay. Now take this. Finish this quickly.)

Bihaan: Hume Munna se baat karna hai. (I have to talk to Munna.)

Grandma: Kaun Munna? (Who is Munna?)

Bihaan: Vo aadmi jo subah humse milne aaya tha. (That man who came to meet me in the morning.)

Grandma: Subah to sirf Jaidev aur Ramesh aaye the. Main donoon ko bulaati hoon. (In the morning only Jaidev and Ramesh came. I'll call both.)
She knew that Bihaan wanted to see Ramesh but she had to clear his misunderstandings. There was no Munna here. She left the hut and Raju accompanied her. Ramesh and Jaidev were talking.

Grandma: Ramesh! Ek baar Bihaan se milo aur usey samjao ki tum Munna nahi ho. Jaidev, tum bhi uske saath jao. (Ramesh! Meet Bihaan once and make him understand that you are not Munna. Jaidev, go with him.)

Ramesh: Phir se Munna. Mujhe bhi jaanna hai ki aakhir Munna kaun hai. (Again Munna. Now I want to know who this Munna is.)

Raju: Munna toh Tisha ka pati. (Munna is Tina's husband.)

Ramesh: Ab ye Tisha kaun hai? (Now, who is this Tisha?)

Raju: Tisha Munna ki patni hai aur Meera ki beti. (Tisha is Munna's wife and Meera's daughter.)

Ramesh was becoming more and more confused. In addition, Jaidev was now laughing.

Jaidev (seeing Ramesh confused): Ye sab log mere kahaani se hai. (All these people are from my story)

Saying this Thapki left. She took an auto rickshaw and headed towards the closest hospital.

Jaidev: Bihaan. Main Jaidev hoon aur ye Ramesh hai. (Bihaan. I'm Jaidev and this is Ramesh.)

Bihaan was looking suspiciously at Ramesh.

Jaidev: Kal Vimal aa raha hai. Vo ek doctor hai. Vo khaas apke liye yahan aa raaha hai. Nahi toh Vimal mahine mein sirf ek baar aata hai. Humare saath rehene mein ajeeb lag raha hai na? Jaldi se apne pariwaar se miloge. (Tomorrow Vimal is coming. He is a doctor. He is coming here especially for you. Else, he come here only once a month. You must be feeling strange living among us. Soon, you will meet yout family.)

Bihaan (sadly, looking at Ramesh): 15 saal ke baad kaun mere intezaar kar raha hai? Tumhe toh pata hai na ghar pe koi aur ne humara jagah le liya hai. (After 15 years who is waiting for me? You must be knowing someone took my place.)

Ramesh: Matlab? (What do you mean?)

Bihaan: Matlab jab main yahan 15 saalon se so raha hoon, tab tumara bhai ne humari jagah le liya. (I mean that while I was here for 15 years, your brother took my place)

Ramesh left the hut angrily. He did not like the way Bihaan was talking. Moreover, what he was saying was making no sense.

Jaidev (hurriedly): Ek minute mein aata hoon. (I'll be back in a minute.)

He then followed Ramesh.

Outside the hut

Grandma: Kya hua? (What happened?)

Jaidev: Bahut ajeeb baatein bol raha hai vo. Aur Munna, er.. matlab Ramesh ko gussa aaya. (He was saying weird things. And Munna, I mean Ramesh got angry.)

Grandma: Main khud usey baat karungi. (I'll talk to him.)

Dhruv: Maa, mujhe aap sab se baat karna hai.

They called everyone, except the children. Only Thapki was missing. Suman went to call her but then found that she is missing.

Suman(After searching for Thapki): Badi saasuma, Thapki ghar par nahi hai. (Mother-in-law, Thapki is not at home.)

Dhruv: Main phone kar leta hoon. (I'll phone her.)

Thapki picked up the phone.

Dhruv: Tum kahan ho? Police ko pata chal gaya hai Bani kiske saath reh rahi hai. (Where are you? The police has found with whom Bani is staying.)

Thapki: Kiske saath? (With whom she is?)

Dhruv: Kosi Devi!

After hearing this, everyone was shocked.

Thapki entered the house. Everyone was still in the living room.

Vasu(annoyed): Kahan gayi thi tum? Maine kaha tha na apne kamre jao aur aaram karo. (Where did you go? I told you to go to your room and rest.)

Bauji: Arey, ab vo aagayi hai. App gussa kyun ho rahi ho? Thapki bitiya Dhruv tumhara intezaar kar raha tha. Tum dono abhi police station jao. Baad mein baat karte hai. (Now she is back. Why are you getting angry? Thapki, Dhruv was waiting for you. Now you two go to the police station. We will talk later.)

Thapki nodded. Dhruv and Thapki left for the police station.

Bihaan was trying to stand up but could only do so for some seconds. He did not have enough strengh. Just then Grandma entered the hut. She helped him to stand. Bihaan gave a faint smile. He was grateful to Grandma for everything she was doing for him. Suddenly, she let go of Bihaan's arm. Bihaan fell on the cot. He became confused while Grandma gave him a stern look.

Grandma: Kya hua tha tumhare saath? Tumhe goli kaisi lagi? (What has happened to you? Why were you shot?)

Bihaan: Kisiko bachaate huey laga tha. (I got shot while saving someone.)

Grandma: Kisko? (Whom?)

Bihaan: Thapki, meri patni. (My wife.)

Grandma: Munna kaun hai? (Who is Munna?)

Bihaan: Aapko nahi pata? (You don't know?)

Grandma: Nahi. Aur ye mat khena ki Ramesh Munna hai. Vo bachpan se mere saath reh raha hai aur maine usey kabhi Munna nahi bulaya. (No. And don't tell me that Ramesh is Munna. Since childhood he is living with me and I have never called him Munna.)

Bihaan (whispering): Ek aur humsakal. (One more lookalike.)

Grandma: Kya kaha? (What did you say?)

Bihaan: Kuch nahi. Humse galti ho gayi. (Nothing. I made a mistake.)

Vasu: Suman bahu khaana lagado. Abhi tak na Thapki na Dhruv ne phone ki. Aise baithney se kuch nahi hoga. Aur bachon ko bhook lagi hogi. (Suman serve the dinner. Neither Thapki nor Dhruv has called. By sitting nothing will happen. The children must be hungry.)

Vasu picked up the phone and talked to the person on the other side.

Vasu to Bauji and Suman: Kal Preeti aur Ashwin vapas aa rahe hain. (Tomorrow Preeti and Ashwin are returning.)

Bauji: Aur Sanjay? (What about Sanjay?)

Vasu: Pata nahi. Uske baare mein Preeti bahu ne kuch nahi kaha. Kya pata maaji ko lekar aayega. (I don't know. Preeti did not say anything about him. He might return with mother.)

Suman: Chaliye khaana khaate hai. Bachon ko bula ke aati hoon. (Let's eat. I'll go call the children.)

In Dhruv's car

Thapki was thinking about what the sub inspector had said. He kept blabbering about unnecessary information. That must be why they had to wait for nearly 1 hour before meeting him. He was the complete opposite of the police inspector. Thapki summarised the facts.

Kosi Devi took Bani to an unknown village.
Unfortunately for her, a goon gang has created some commotion there and more policemen have been sent there. Since the past 2 days, the villagers have been asked to remain indoors as the village could be a very dangerous place at night.
One of policeman who is from Noida and has recently been transferred there recognised Kosi while the identity of the girl with her was unknown.
They have arrested her and at the police station the girl was identified as Bani. According to the sub inspector, tomorrow morning Bani will be brought back.
She was still in her deep thoughts when Dhruv spoke.
Dhruv: Thapki, hum ghar aa gaye. (Thapki, we have reached home.)

Dhruv shared whatever the sub inspector had said to the family.

Vasu: Ek baat mein samaj nahi rahi hoon. Kosi ko Bani kahan mili? (I don't understand one thing. Where did Kosi find Bani?)
