Maya's mental haalat and childhood insecurities, her father's cheating, not to mention how she saw Arjun continuously lie to her after she got pregnant, is what made her that ultra-possessive and obsessive. Saanjh had a very normal and secure upbringing with two loving parents, siblings and a support network. Maya had a terrible childhood, parents who tortured and neglected her, no siblings, no friends and not an ounce of happiness in her life before Arjun. Fear of losing Arjun, like the way she lost everything else she loved, is what propelled her mad possessiveness.

That needed a cure at that time. If Arjun had done with her at that time what he is doing now, even though now it's a pretence, Maya may have never become like this. He should have removed the security cameras and taken her to get psychiatric help. He should have given her the love and care she needed at that time.

I disagree. I think Maya became the third wheel in Arjun and Saanjh's life. By the time Arjun had even met Maya he and Saanjh were already in love. His and Saanjh's relationship was already established. If anything Maya should've been the one to stay away from Arjun. She knew they were in love. If she had a morsel of self-respect she wouldn't have gone to the lengths she did to get Arjun. Saanjh had the first right over Arjun when everything began - they were already in love before Maya entered the picture. Why is it wrong for Arjun and Saanjh to continue their relationship after Arjun's married? And may I remind, the two only met once in private - at the restaurant. And even if they'd met more than once, Arjun would be much more at fault than Saanjh because Arjun is bound by marriage to Maya; he's the one obliged to stick within the boundaries of marriage. He should know better than to meet Saanjh. As for Saanjh, she hadn't met him to get things going with him.

I also disagree with the idea that Saanjh was obsessed with Arjun. I think she always loved him truly. If the word obsessed belongs anywhere it's with Maya. Someone in love wouldn't murder the mother of the one they love, manipulate their relationships with their loved ones and make their life a living hell. I don't mean to start a fan war but I don't understand why people call Saanjh the obsessed one when there's a great example of obsessed personified elsewhere.
