I always knew Neil thought the child was his. So that part I was never surprised about. He would never have told Avni when she proposed to him in such a heartfelt way that he has a kid, if it was all an act! That is NOT Neil and I said that many times. For him to say it, he has reason to believe he is the father or suppose he is. Doesn't mean he is, but he does believe it. Today I was vindicated in what I said, and I am glad I always read Neil the character in the right way. No matter what Juhi told him, if he knew 100% he was not the Dad he would never hurt Avni or mislead and upset his family.

The next thing is the "Plan". It's clear most of it was a plan, but the Juhi suicide and running from alter does not appear to be. But THAT was the catalyst for Avni leaving. So that part is still a bit confusing to me. But they did start fake arguments in earshot of family so that they can show them they are having issues. (This was before the wedding though). We know the Goa thing was a plan and even the diabetic food which I thought was too coincidental. I did wonder if Avni had something to do with it so as to win Vidyut's trust. Clearly, she did.

The Confession! It was beautiful, and for me, nothing detracted from that moment. The fact that Neil had confessed such a huge truth and Avni still decided to stay with him is all he needed to know. She had just proposed and asked him to choose her. In response, he told her he has a kid with his ex, of whom he only just found out that day. He was bracing himself for a possible rejection and instead she promised to always be with him in all his issues. Neil then drops his guard and tells her he loves her! Avni never said "I love you Neil!" but Neil said "I love you Avni Neil Khanna!" that was perfect and I loved it.

IS Neil the Father? Was the champagne-filled night result in him having a kid? We don't know yet. Yes if he does have a child for real then it does put a spanner in the works! But look at it this way guys. Both Avni and Neil believe this kid is Neil's and THIS is the equation between them. Nothing could shake their love. So if this kid is not Neil's then they will only know one thing. That they can withstand ANY storm together. Their trust and love has got an even bigger mandate. A bigger platform. That is all.

Juhi...I felt when Neil said "You have told us everything about Vidyut" she looked cagey. I think there are things she has NOT told them. I know Poonam's expressions are not the best, but I felt she looked nervous and caught out. So there IS more to this story. I know people find it grating when Neil calls Mishti "Meri Beti". He even looked hurt when she refused to be his friend. But the only thing that makes this track realistic is if Neil and Avni believe this kid is Neil's. How true this is only time will tell and CV's of course!

P.S: The kiss was Hawt! 😳

I think NK is the only show where a female lead is forward and contemporary. For example I like the scene where avni checks out Neil when he is repairing his bike and him drenching in rain I mean you can never expect such a scene in other shows they always show a woman running away or shying away from the male lead ...why can't a women have normal feelings like men do and why is it that she is expected not to express them first. I also like the fact that avni was the first to propose and also first to kiss. Kudos to the writer ...for writing such things.
