Armaans past comes back to haunt him...

The first task we have at hand is to determine the true nature of our beloved Armaan. Is he what Rahul made him out to be- are those instances true or are they stories concocted in Rahul's scheming mind?

The second question to ask is whether we will forgive him, if the stories are true. Surely people must have felt slightly uncomfortable as I did on hearing that He did exactly the same things for a certain Ritvika that he did for Riddhima. Does that not make his actions seemingly worthless? The difference in the two cases only seem to be the Pushtani kada which armaan only gave to Riddhima and the oath to take riddhima as his life partner. Personally I would be shocked with the knowledge that someones treated me in the same way as his other girlfriends and now expects me to trust him that im the one 4 him.

But then again, we have previously justified armaan's quick response in knowing that Basket was the one for him- he has walked the path of experimentation- seen and met all kinds of women and realising shes the one. But surely experimentation does not mean 'maroing chance' at every hot girl you meet and telling them you 'love' them. Surely if we know our Armaan well enough- isnt that the last thing he would do....?

Or has he matured over the years? Is that why we are shown the constant replays of armaans past- to tell us that Riddhima has truly changed him?- But surely then- his style and method of expressing his love should have changed too? Why then the childish balcony climbing, the waiting in the rain and the use of the excessively used and therefore thouroughly abused words- I love you.

Lastly, I knew this was to happen one day. Showing armaan as the casanova will hinder their relationship at one point- always does. What I was hoping for was to be proved wrong and the DMG creatives not to follow this standard storyline...so lets wait and see!

So then- young armaan's actions justified? should his past have any influence on his present life? Your viewss.....please reply!

Thanks
-Krystal

Excellent post, Krystall!

Yes indeed...Armaan's past has come back to haunt him in a way, but he will pay the price very heavily especially cuz Riddhima herself is proving to be as bad a judge of character as I had expected.

As for the story told by Rahul to her....I am quite convinced that atleast 50% of that was mirch masala added on by Rahul to show Armaan in a worse light than usual...Rahul seemed to take a little too much glee in telling the tale, and his intentions are anything but innocent as is very obvious...The whole waiting outside in the rain bit especially sounds like he's been spying and getting some background info on the AR love story 😆 😆 😆

I personally just am very disappointed with how they always show Riddhima as the one jumping to conclusions so quickly and always prepared to believe the worst about Armaan....It's like he said himself at one point, "Tumhein to duniya bhar ke logon mein acchayee dikhti hai sivai mere"...She may love him, but sadly enough she still doesn't trust him...and looks like no matter what he may do, the moment there is even a slight mention of his past, she is instantly ready to believe the worst of him. Even in today's epi...the way he was trying to cajole her, and she was STILL acting pricey! amazing.

Love is a leap of faith, and looks like Riddhima has sadly enough still not made the leap completely...she still lacks basic faith in Armaan...very sad indeed, cuz the man has done everything but killed himself in her love.

Krystall u noe i was abt to make a post on his past....... thankooooooo for making it.......

Well we all know that armaan was a BORN FLIRT...... n the way ridhima reacted on listening to rahool's story was just hilarious....... she was behaving like an innocent gal, who met armaan recently n fallen in love without knowing much abt him.......... yaar since the very beginning ridhim awas very well aware of the fact that armaan is a flirt n that was the reason why she wasn't able to believe armaan so easily n when she started believing armaan, her belief seems to be like a PHOS BOMB, as rahoool could distort her belief with his one story.......Ridhima needs to grow up.......she can come to me for training 😆

N well as far as armaan's family is concerned........ i m glad that atleast some one took interest in his family........... n i m desperately waiting for the introduction of his family

First of all I would like to say you made a very nice post there Krystal.

And now to the point, I really hope that whatever Rahul said was a lie. Cuz seeing that scene where Rahul is telling all those things to Riddhima made me cry. Is he really a big huge scum like Rahul? Was he faking this all along? If it is true, then I'm just gonna die!!! I would hate myself for loving a guy that played with someone else's feelings. I just hope and wish that whatever Rahul said is all a big huge lie just to make AR split. Seeing Rahul's personality it makes sense for him making up such a big huge lie. But Armaan.. it makes no sense at all. Why would he go through all that just for Riddhima? I wish the creative team makes Rahul's words a lie.

Your Inner Strength,

Durga 😉

Nice post Krystal.

I am agree with Mahek that Ridz already knows that Armaan was a big flirt.

I think she shouldnt have to react like that the way she did.

If we always interacted with the past then its hard to live in future. We have to ignore the past and walk ahead in life.

No comment about Rahul.

great topic krystal! i agree with you. i was dissapointed to hear about armaan past behaviour. but i do think rahul added his own mirch masala to the story. but its true, what one does in the past, will always catch up with them. so if armaan was really like this, he better get ready to pay the price. if its not ture, then armaan and riddhimas love will conqure this storm.

first of all great topic krystal

see i don't believe in living in d past watever he did in the past is past him.i don't think he is gonna walk up to riddz and say'Basket, turns out i don'treally love u i love someone else so give me my pushtaani kadha back."and i think he really loves riddz and i also think he has matured over d years.i think rahul is d one that needs maturing.y can't he move on wid his life??? leave armaan alone??? i don't trust him at all and we love armi and d armi we knw won't do that 2 riddz bcuz he loves her dearly.

Thanks for appreciating the post guys!- keeps me going on this forum amongst the 'im gonna kill so and so' posts...(no offense 😃 )

Should love = blind faith?
like mehak said - she already knows of his flirtatious nature and should take what rahul said lightly, with a pinch of salt. Another thing about faith- Armaan does not trust Rahul, Riddhima should consider why that is instead of making her own often incorrect judgments on people. But like nureat said, shes surprisingly a very bad judge of character.

What I'm tryna get at as well is that being flirtatious is one thing- proclaiming your love to several women at once is insensitivity. Although they showed it as a humorous flashback- think from ritvika's perspective- what if she was serious?

I am hoping its 50% mirch masala. That would stop us questioning our adorable and thus far morally correct (on several occasions) Armaan- but until it is- i do wonder- is our blind faith in his character totally justified?

Durga dont worry- I dont think its a matter of whether armaan really loves Riddhima or not- we've established that much I think. Its just- Has he really played with peoples feelings in the past, if so what does that make him and whether Riddhima should be convinced that he's changed or not? But you know- I've always considered the track that Armaans faking his love, it made a different story and seeing that officially Riddhima is the protagonist- that would be a good twist. But people love AR too much so i dont think they'll go down that route!
