That's it? Bas ho gaya enough punishment? Why do Indian shows even try showing such things?
So much tam jham about a royal family and its heir but the head of te family didnt bother to speak a word for a crime tgat has been committed in his jaan se pyara LAL MAHAL

Not even Baldev who is ever whining about losing his status in the family

Vikram's heir stood there supporting his cousin. An heir to a royal throne doesnt know what to do or how to handle a situation like this. Vikram though had preached Vatsalya about the importance of being an heir before but Avdhoot should be just bothered about the business. Kamini, accusing Anami, tge daughter of the house and Gayatri doesnt even interupt her.

So, Harry baba is still a guest in the house. At least ask him to leave right now.

Two good things in this episode,

1)Pujan's plan backfired as usual. Baldev, Satrupa and Anami saved the idol while Vikram cleared the way for them.

2)Anami gets a chance to show her abilities. She can be an heir if she proves her worth

Though I loved today's episode,But still 2 things are bothering me
1)Kaminis attitude...Her victim blaming n not even feeling ashamed of her NRI, ok she supported him Infront of the public but atleast she could have said something in private...I am done with her..will never be able to like her...even Poojan maintained a dignified silence in public as well as in his room also.
2) Silence of vikram n Gayatri...They should have spoken... atleast Gayatri should have when Kamini was blaming Anami for doing the right...She should have shown Kamini her right place... N even satrupa was saying dialogues like" you know if It was me in place of Anami what could have happened" then why didn't she take any action..

The winner takes it all !!

Argh Dey, and here I was thinking I would disagree with your post. 😆 But heck, begrudgingly I have to concede that showcasing Vikram as a mute spectator was not correct, especially in the light of the show that adopts and endorses progressive mentality, rather disappointing, imo.

But if we look at it in retrospect, most people knowingly or unknowingly condone silence and hence, the culprits get a boost to pursue what they intent at doing. If only things were better.

Anyway, I am extremely ecstatic with the episode tonight, especially with the turnaround in Anami's characterisation, so I am giving a benefit of doubt to the makers, this one time. The entire saving the idol and Vikram paving the way for Anami while Satrupa and Baldev helped Anami around, was so well juxtaposed as Pujan and family looked on that one cant help but reminisce how Anami's entry had been vehemently shunned by the same people not very long ago.

All in all, the episode and the precap, point towards the change in the direction of winds in LM with Anami being the legit successor to her fore-bearers, as she will now be pitted against an unsuspecting and worthless Avdoot, who will strive to pull her down illegitimately.

Needless to say, that eventually the winner will take it all, rightfully and discernibly.

The difference between a hero and a coward is one step sideways. Gene Hackman

Anami stood up for her friend, her companion. Vikram does care about his house staff but not over his reputation.Vikram speaking out would have been inconsistent with his character sketch,he's too bothered about family name, reputation. Such people like to keep issues like this undercover. Why do you think he was relieved and smiled when Satrupa said let's end it here. Fact is the patriarchal society cares more for their name than living with integrity. It's more talk and little to no action.

Having said that I loved the episode. Yes the men didn't speak up but what really made me happy was that the women stood up against their own family member and called her out on her vile comments, Harry's actions were deplorable but Kamini's justification for the same was atrocious. She's the voice of the majority of women who encourage men to be their chauvinistic self. If more women like Anami and Satrupa stood up our society will definitely change.

Disagree. It happened close to characterization as far as I understand. Kamini's reaction might have been similar to Gayathri's and Vikram's when they found out Sudha was pregnant with Narottam. They must have thought the rich heir was seduced by a greedy woman. Who knows what they did exactly to land Sudha in the mental hospital ? They treat Narottam like dirt because he is her son and they do not consider him Baldev's son, more his mistake. They cheated Satrupa because she was acceptable and married her off to their son to get a legal heir. Why would anyone expect such people to speak up in the case of Poonam. She is a servant.
If Vatsalya had been alive and Poonam and he had fallen in love do you think they would have accepted them ? Poonam would probably be the next one in the mental hospital.

Anami is different. She is someone for whom a servant is a person and an equal created in the image of God. So she respects people more than status. That is why she bent to take out the thorn in the man's leg even though she is the princess of LM. It takes humility and that is why she was able to see the statue start to fall when she was literally on the ground. The people of LM always look ahead or up, never down. Anami does and therefore she will have a loyalty from people that comes from a genuine place not because they are employees. It may even be the reason that makes Narottam act on her behalf eventually and save her from Sudha.

So while I get your point and do agree Gayathri should have spoken up, they seem like class status people to whom servants and people lower than them are for their use and possibly throw.
