why Should Meera accept Dev? True love

However, I still didn't understand Dev's obsession with the look alike. It was like all his smartness and quirkiness just has disappeared. They've wasted 4 episodes in this angle and even ruined Dev's character.

Its stupid to show him lose his brains completely of he didn't know Bank's reality. And if he did, I think it doesn't make sense for him to leave his "family" coz that puts them more in danger.

The only way I think this can be justified is if he already knows he cares a lot about Meera (if not love) and Spa and wants them completely out of the mess and he didn't want Vani and whoeveris involved his concern for all of them.

This would also help in justifying his character and also, to add not show some weird pity love story between Meera and Dev (I didn't really ship these two in the beginning but, they definitely grew on me). I would hate to see Meera getting Dev as some consolation prize because Vani shows her true colours. Even worse if he still loves Vani after all this rubbish.

Let's see! I think the next episode will determine how sensibly they can do justice to the characters.

They need to confirm within this season only that Dev - Meera are end game and Dev is surely and certainly falling for Meera. No friendship tag will cut it any more. They've passed that stage of their relationship I believe. Now it's time to make the picture clearer for the viewers. Indian audience hate being taken for a ride and confusion and uncertainty regarding "Hero ka asli heroine kaun hai! "

Who's even gonna bother watching season 2 if Dev - Meera are not shown as romantically involved by the end of this season! 😆 They need not be together or even in a official or formal relationship but the awareness of love and romantic tension should be firmly established especially from Dev's side.

Or else Ive strong doubt whether there'll be another season at all ! 😆

So I watch a lot of West Crime shows . The frustrating part in those shows is the chemistry between leads are blatantly obvious and sometimes we get meaningful convo like you are my partner, you light my way etc etc but it takes years for a kiss, even nothing when one of lead leaves show. So shipping in crime/cop shows are a bitch and I m well experienced in that 😆 when I started watching dev the most I hoped for some meaningful moments like that between Meera/dev. Even though Pooja was there I knew endgame or hints would be regarding D/M cause duh, sumona. This season has been like 40/60 in what they gave and my expectations. When yesterday dev said you are my friend and partner, my family I didn't see it coming cause story didn't give me that. Dev at best tolerated her, often manhandled her (I am not even going who was wrong but physical abuse is a no no for me) and generally gave no sign of feelings. Probably he cares but that didn't translate well on screen. And we got a LOT overdose of Mehak . My issue with her isn't cause of DM. The ex dead and returned is a trope done to death in many shows so nothing new was that, and it didn't interest me. Also they strechted her part a lot, I mean 4 epis on that like come on! It's too much, they could have showed it parallaly with a case..nvm. what's done is done and I can only hope in next season mehak don't return and it's about developing DM. Dev needs to show he actually cares about them and not just words.

Regarding the relationship...dev is never for charity feelings. He openly disregard others feeling if they are being protective or caring towards him. So if he knows meera likes him at best he would be awkward and may pretend he knows nothing. Meera have seen dev falling to another woman's trap and she may sympathize cause dead wife, but she has to be cautious. Like when she entered the house she didn't immediately started working with dev or warmed up to him. We may get that phase again. She has to keep distance and I want dev to reach out this time, this whole situation with Vani/M will be a low blow to his psyche and he needs to soften down after it.
