It's the cast that first attract audience's attention.
And the cast was superb, idea is superb but there are failing it to execute it correctly and that's the job of writer. It's his job that whatever they're showing connects to the audience.
Sometimes I feel there's no depth or clarity in writing. I am no writer but I feel that there should be a connection that will make the viewers glued to watch. I just sometimes watch it online but you can't seem to connect with it. And no matter how much you try and say it on social media it will turn to deaf ears.
It's better not to watch or watch in between.
The thing which mostly irks me is the unnecessary degradation of other Tridevs / Tridevis . I mean WHY do they have to do that ???? Initially I didn't complain much about the attires and make-overs of the others Gods/Goddess because it was very much evident that they want all focus only Mata Parvati / Kaali and hence made her to look best among others. So I let it go & it didn't bother me much .
But just for the sake of highlighting that particular character the writer started to put down other Godly characters down.
All I'm suggesting from the beginning is since the show is about MahaKaali , let them keep their focus only on Mata Parvati / Kaali & Shivji and stop making joke out of others Tridevs and Tridevis!
I read about this Kamakhya-narkasur story in some websites and clearly the writer didn't entirely follow the actual story . He twisted it according to his own convenience .
Nowhere it's written that Mata Lakshmi was captured nor Baghavan Vishnu / Narayana himself sending his wife to narkasur !!!!
And also I've never read anywhere about Goddess Narasinghi Devi getting beaten up by asuras
(or) about tarakasur attacking Devi Vaishani and Devi Brahmi !
If the writer provides any sacred or authentic texts where such things are mentioned as proof for his writings , then I'll try not to complain .
Just to make Parvati's character look more heroic , he had made rest of the characters look weak and helpless!
Nowadays I decided to watch the show without considering it as either mythological or devotional genre. And simply watching by pretending it to be some fantasy based fairy tale show or some sci-fi thriller .
It's hard to accept that the divine characters shown in this serial as Gods or Goddesses . So I started seeing them as just some warrior princes and princesses or something like that .
This mindset really helps me in watching this show without cringing much !
