She is a good actress,better than her contemporaries but lacks sex appeal.She is cutesy type,doubt she'd ever be no1.

In the times of Shraddha, Sonam , Kat I guess anyone even having an ounce of acting talent gets all the praise
Plus she delivered a few hits and audiences loves her

True that LOL. Kriti, Sonakshi, Shradda, Pari etc all have no appeal to me. Alia is the only one that somewhat appeals and I will actually go watch a movie for. Agreed, I don't think she could have held her own with those actress you mentioned because they were just something else. She came at a good time, but even then, I still do think she has done some great work and has proved herself as an actress pretty early on in her career (of course due to the opportunities she got). Where as most of the actresses mentioned were stuck doing flowerpot roles so early in their career (once again due to no fault of their own).
