I am Punjabi and my family NEVER even talk to me about marriage and all thank God!! 😆 I think the representation of Punjabi's on TV is very stereotypical and rude. But I dont take offence because I appreciate the entertainment medium and understand Film and TV and their prime purpose (to entertain), every group is stereotyped.

In general Punjabi's love to dance, eat and be merry, they like to feed everyone around them as well as themselves... So I guess the whole eating/dancing and being tough is a very exaggerated version of reality.
