I dont necessarily think its a bad call to portray him as such. It cant be so straight forward and one dimensional as that because that would be predictable. His character is interesting because of the fact that he can get carried away one moment and next be entirely different even if that means being rude once in a while. Thats human flaw.
Inspite of this it serves to make his interactions with Naina all the more fascinating, and sets it up nicely and at a good pace to get from where he is at now to whatever they will be later. Id rather they not rush the character developments and see their relationship happen naturally rather than forcefully like every other indian serial even if this entails turmoil and conflicts between our lovely leads.
I do agree that their development should take time. However, I don't think that you need to be in love with someone to feel guilty at times. Sameer will definitely go ahead with his plan no matter what and he should, it'll make sure that the show is interesting. However, most indian serials while exploring the revenge track, make the guy super ruthless in the beginning and then he becomes super sweet. It makes the character inconsistent. It's difficult to understand the depth of the situation since it's on tv but if you think about it... Deliberately wanting to break someone's heart especially through an elaborate scheme is a big deal. If Sameer is a good person at heart... Atleast once... he should find it difficult to manipulate her like that. I'm not saying right now because right now Sameer is filled with anger. But as time passes. It's easy to feel sorry after you fall in love but if he has a little goodness in him, he would tone down his elaborate schemes. I love Sameer and I don't want his character to be broken beyond repair. All the actors are doing a splendid job. Let's see what happens next đOriginally posted by: Sairandhri
