I liked Shahid best in the trailer ...next Ranveer. Deepika looks very beautiful.

I don't know about Rajput obsession. So Padmavati movie is made and it becomes a Rajput obsession? How many other films are made on Rajputs?

Jodha Akbar is more about Mughals than Rajputs and I never heard of the Rajput/Kshatriya films.

Really I don't know why it matters. BW makers make what they want.

Anyway the Padmavati story is fake and if SLB tries to show any kind of vile bargain as he did in his French play, he better be careful. So far I liked the trailer and will watch.

Khilji was an Indian, who said civilized and cultured people can not be cruel or barbaric by nature. You do not have to literally show them like the way SLB is presenting.

The irony is this King of Chittor was killed by another Rajput King not by Khilji. Well I hope SLB shows this fact and not by making Khilji kill him.

I really have problem with film makers who go over board when it come to historical person and present them the way they were not. This is not fictional character we are talking about that you can take liberties with.
