THIS industry scion with a penchant for sport wants to be known as the next big thing in corporate circles. So, he's hired an image management company to project him as a great philanthropist, never mind that his family-run hospital is in sad shape. Instead of fixing what's broken, or even stepping into his father's mighty-sized boots, this notso-young gun is happier rolling cigarettes and travelling the world with one of his best friends and employees, another old-moneyed son.

Wadia. So many of these old-money scions are so useless & dependent on their family's money. Except both the Ambani brothers who seem to have some stuff in them/were properly trained for the job. This way all their money will vanish.

I think the businesses are run by professionals (Bombay Dyeing and Britannia) so the money will keep flowing in...and they will keep making their director's fee! Very few second generation business kids get involved in the family business. There is a lot of research to say that most (not all) family wealth gets lost in 3 generations)

I think the friend referenced here is Burman (Dabur family)- they are quite thick and he was witness to Wadia and PZ's ugly public altercation.

Wow .. what a life man .. no work to do, but you are called an industrialist as if the whole economy is based on your hard work and brains. And instead you get to live a life of luxury and too much fun.

But wouldn't these people get bored and want to do something excitingly productive that will make them happy.

Anony: Ya I think it is Burman being referenced too. I've read that report which states how the 3rd generation always loses money.. Ambanis should watch out then, lol. But by all rumours, most of their kids are extremely capable ESP Isha & Jai Anmol (Anil A's son) so I think they'll be safe for 2 more generations.

Wadia seems like a sophisticated low-life & complete scum. I remember reading that article where Lara mentioned how he Locked her up in a flat without much food/water!!! W*F does that?!!? Psychopath! She was reportedly in a relationship with him but ran the other way after this incident, I think
