went with a friend, who said at the end of it: your boy did very well. 😆
the movie feels different from the usual hindi films, almost "abollywood". for some reason i did think of satyajit ray's aranyer din ratri this time round... maybe because i am a bong. friendship among a group of people, esp guys, is difficult to portray. tends to get too "showy", too "bromance"... it was really never that here.
and i fell for the songs, milind dhaimade has written them as well. dhoondlo played on a loop yesterday for hours. and after a long long time i enjoyed making an edit. the fellow is really good at what he does, hope this film gets him noticed. arjun anand though is a beautiful role to have been given, usual hindi movies may not have such characters.
thinking of watching the film once more. surprisingly, in singapore it's got a few shows till next week, even though halls are empty.
