Nepotism does play a hand but in Varun''s it's more about his father offering the right guidance, smart career moves by keeping Karan at arm length and doing movies for B and C centers as well as A centers.

Also Varun is focused and has charisma.

A pity he's a bad actor.

Nepotism is an issue for sure. It exists in every field, not only BW. But, u may be having a thousand ppl backing u n taking u forward, but if u don't live up to ppl's expectations, they WILL reject u, sooner or later. Like in BW, nobody is a born star. U have to prove ur self.

Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan etc are all products of nepotism. So are the likes of Tushar Kapoor, Esha Deol, Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor. Why are the former bigger stars than the latter lot? It's only coz they have proved their mettle as great actors in this industry by doing good work. Alia was phenomenal in Highway and Dear Zindagi. Ranbir was excellent in Wake Up Sid, Barfi, Rockstar, Tamasha and the likes. Varun has proved himself in Judwaa 2(haven't seen the movie, but going by the positive reviews it's got)

No offense to Shraddha Kapoor n Arjun Kapoor fans but these 2 can't act. They are in the industry coz their parents belong to the industry.

Getting into the industry is easier for star kids than others with a non filmy background, surely. But staying in it is totally upto them. How far they go is totally upto them, based on their talent.

It's true not only for BW, for any other field. If a person who's not studied anything in 5 years of MBBS gets a PG seat just based on influence, or coz his dad/mom is a doctor n has contacts, it's not gonna work for him/her unless he/ she puts in efforts to prove himself as a good doctor. Nobody would want to be treated by a bad doctor. Nepotism or not, everybody has to prove themselves in order to truly excel in life.

amazing interview

i just simply love this boy. Just recently watching illeana's interview during the promotion of her recent film. The host asked him who's her fav costar ranbir, varun or arjun. She take varun's name. Last year nargis said she dont have any friend in bollywood except VD. So it really warms me that he's a likable costar as well. i dont know y m going off topic 😆

n all those having problem with varun and dragging nepotism jab whenever they read about VD's success, if minority have problem with him or not liking his acting its their problem.

As the latest trend proved VD is loved by many and people are accepting him in this field. His next will come in june i guess till then enjoying 9th hit in a row 🥳
