I wrote this in another thread and decided to make a separate thread so that I can understand both the point of views.
According to me how can Satrupa be justified in giving up her baby?
It's true that it was guruji who asked her to give up her first born, which was Vatsalya, so that her these set of twins don't meet the same fate as that of her first set of twins. no matter under what pressure, Satrupa chose her son over her daughter simply because he was born a male.
then it was guruji and not satrupa who chose the pathak family for anami. Satrupa during all these 17 years did not even bother to ask guruji where her daughter was and it was only when Vatsalya and guruji reminded her of the daughter that she decided to go bring back her daughter.
She had no idea about her daughter so what if in these 17 years the pathaks after having a child of their own would have thrown her out or would have met with an accident and died leaving Anami alone in this whole wide world?
Now as per the circumstances it's as if Satrupa put out her daughter for adoption and Some good family adopted her. So in that way Satrupa literally has no right on her now, right? Imagine if the real parents of each adopted child came and demanded for their child back? would that be fair?
compare this to lord Krishna.
In case of Krishna, if he was not given up to Nanda he would have been killed but here Satrupa's children simply wouldn't have become the heir. That's not a big deal.
Not only that Satrupa came and blamed the family that raised her with love of kidnapping her which not only makes them criminals but also destroys their reputation in the neighborhood. she did that coz she had no time and had to bring back Anami that day itself but the fact remains that she wanted Anami to come back coz she wanted Anami to have RS. but Anami was not even interested in RS. and what Anami said was right. if Vatsalya was alive Satrupa would not have cared an ounce for Anami's 'right' on LM and RS. it was only and only because Vatsalya died that she came for Anami and hence it proves that Satrupa only came to Anami because she didn't want to lose RS, a company she put her blood, sweat and tears to build. Satrupa may deserve the company but how does that justify her using Anami as a puppet to gain that.
Krishna himself decided to return but here Anami didn't. And why should she. She literally had no connection to RS or LM. Just coz she has the blood of LM she should throw her entire life away and train and head a company which might not even be her career choice. ever in some different circumstances. What if she wanted to be a doctor, teacher or a masseur for that matter. Then why are we even complaining about neopotism.
I personally feel no matter what flaws Anami has her anger on Satrupa is completely justified and Satrupa doesn't deserve forgiveness until and unless she apologizes to both Anami and Pathaks for what she did to them.
Just the way Anami needs to learn and accept her mistakes with regards to her behavior with every one else other than Satrupa, Satrupa too should understand and accept her wrong doings.
i'd like to hear what others have to say about this.
